We had dinner in Lanterna due to the positive comments in Tripadvisor. The food was good but probably not very different to other restaurants located on the same very nice pedestrian Zagrebâs street.

What a great restaurant!! The food and service were fantastic. I would highly recommend a visit. The waiter went above and beyond. The black pasta with truffle was amazing. The sea bream was perfectly prepared and served. The chocolate cake at the end finished off the meal with just the right amount of sweet.

Pizza is really good and coctals too. Service is ok but you wait a bit. Prices are lower then in Split. Thank you for your review. We are happy you enjoyed our pizza/cocktails and hope you will come back soon as we will do our best to improve our service in the future.

We went here on the recommendation of the Sheraton down the street and were not disappointed. The interior of this restaurant is interestingly decorated, the staff friendly and professional, the wines on offer of high quality and the food delicious. Be sure to try the dumplings.

We had an excellent dinner at Accubo, a local place serving amazing pizza and mixed grilled meat dishes. Food was in abundance! Extremely reasonable prices. Service with a smile! Do not let the environment shock you, it is worth a visit! If you want to eat local good food, do not hesitate. Well done!!

Went there twice. Service is very good. Portions okay size. Pasta and rice is cooked al dente. We had black rissoto and black spaghetti with asparaghus and shrimp, it was delicious. Chocolate lava cake with ice cream for dessert was awsome. Prices could be a bit lower. Nothing spectacular, but nice.

Few useful tips: Because of the size of our place, we donât recommend it to families and groups of more than 3 people. We work on a first-come, first-served basis as our place is very small and with limited number of high chairs. We don't have a toilet! W

We went here based on reviews. Very small place seats 4 on counter inside and weather permitting 8 outside on two tables. The menu is similar to tapas. We tried several plates. The server explained thoroughly the plate, as far as where ingredients were from and differences in the oils. Such a great little place for a quick bite.

Meals are good but the bistro doesn't work on weekends and holidays, in addition to this the kitchen works funny hours (when it does work) and including the summer time working hours your best bet is to come there on a working day by noon if you plan any meals.Internet page doesn't state this and so it's trial and error for the customer to actually come and eat something there apart from getting a drink.Apart from this the meals are very good with a special approach to local traditional cuisine.

This was our first time here and it was perfect. The server Josip made it an experience to remember. The welcome, the presentation of dishes and wines, the recommendations - he knows his job. The four different appetizers, the fish, the giant Adriatic calamar, the desert, the choice of wine and xo, all delicious. We were lucky to have our small private room. We will be back.

Tucked into a residential alley, Bestija is hard to find but worth it. Charming little place with some beautiful plates coming out of the tiny kitchen. Join the hip young locals for seasonal fresh dishes like sausage stuffed pepper. My grilled Adriatic fish was seriously undercooked, as in raw, but when I asked the waiter he said it was intentional. Celery soup with pumpkin oil was tasty but should be served with some crunchy bread. Would be 5 stars with just a little more attention to taste as well as the presentation and attitude. Croatian wine and local craft beer pair well with the creative cooking and atmosphere.
