Each of nearby taverns invites hungry tourists. We chose to have lunch here by chance, the waiter was very polite. Good point - delicious food, excellent service. Place for slow food.

I did not found something interesting at this tavern.I do not say this because of the plain dishes but i say this because everything was just below average.Ρολάκια μελιÏÎ¶Î¬Î½Î±Ï Î³ÎµÎ¼Î¹ÏÏα αÏλά ÎÎΤÎΨΥÎÎÎÎÎ(frozen ready to cook or fry) (i was sure but you can buy better quality frozen products). Letâs start by saying the restaurant is a beautiful space and the staff is incredible. We were disappointed with our starter of corn pita with cheese sauce because , basically it wasnât corn. Corn pita bread is, well ...corn colored with a simolina texture. This was just regular pita bread with cheese topping that was good but I wanted corn pita. Second starter was the zucchini fries and after one bite our mouth filled with oil and we abandoned that plate too. Our main dish was the liver with sweet potato. Liver was cooked to perfection served on a bed of what looked like white potatoes with sweetness added by either a percentage of sweet potatoes (not much) and some sweetening agent. Again here I have a problem. I thought I was getting a sweet potato or a yam but this was sweetened white potato and again Iâm annoyed at why Iâm basically eating a super sugary starch when I really was expecting something slightly healthier. My partner ordered the ribs and they were over boiled and dried out with no spice rub and served with country potatoes and bbq sauce that was so bad he didnât even finish it. We told our server we were unhappy with our food when asked . Neither chef nor manager came by to discuss. We were then offered a free sweet which we declined . As a person who has food allergies and type 2 diabetes I try to make the best choices based on what is on the menu without grilling my server for the exact recipe. I get disappointed when I think Iâm ordering well and instead receive something that is not what I read in the menu. I would not come back to this restaurant and enjoyed my meal at Hani much more the previous evening. Sadly, I cancelled my reservation to come to Olive and in return had the worst meal on my trip.

Went here for dinner. the server was excellent in his wine choice and was very patient with me. He helped me pick the perfect wine...something not to sweet. I ended up getting a rose. I had a horta salad (which is just boiled spinach, really good when it had been a while since you had something green), cheese croquettes, and pork souvlaki (4 skewers). Everything was delicious except thr skewers were a bit too dry foe my taste. Huge portions, can be shared between 2 people. Complementary dessert was brownies with icecream and chocolate drizzle. On another note, this was the only restaurant I ate at in Greece (and I've been to Greece twice for 1 week each) that charged for bread

We tasted some of the dishes (Cuisine from Crete),all were excellent. The prices were low and quality was high. The salad (from Crete they name it) ,the special pasta with cheese and caramelized onions, the pork baked in the oven for hours with potatoes ,all tasteful. If you find the chocolate pie ,as dessert, with ice cream, take it without thinking....
