Reviews on Mediterranean food in Trapezaki, Ionian Islands, Greece. Mousata (Greek: Μουσάτα) is a village in the municipal unit of Leivatho on the island of Cephalonia, Greece. It is situated between Mount Ainos and the Ionian Sea, at about 200 m elevation. It is 2 km northwest of Vlachata, 4 km east of Peratata and 12 km southeast of Argostoli. The road from Poros to Argostoli passes through the village. Mousata suffered great damage from the 1953 Ionian earthquake.

We serve breakfast and lunch from 9.00 am
We were delighted to return to this restaurant this year and it did not disappoint. Freddy is extremely welcoming and ensures that you are well looked after. The fantastic food and amazing view over the beach and bay makes for a wonderful and relaxing lunch. The Greek salad and Caesar salad were delicious as was the wine and refreshing beer.A great place to stop and people watch. Highly recommended! We will return again next year.

Opening 1st of MAy...
Restaurant is beautiful and looks like it should be amazing. Sadly the service was shocking and the food wasnât great, gristly steaks and bland food. Beef stew was lovely but that was the only redemption. Bill was placed on the table even before we were even offered dessert menus.

Set with a gorgeous view over the village and mountains, this little family friendly restaurant offers amazing traditional food, at a reasonable price, with a beautiful balcony and terrace. My personal favourites were the Souvlaki, Kefalonian Meat Pie, and Stifado, however leave some room for dessert, as they are too worthy of a bite or two!! All in all a lovely family run restaurant, we ate here multiple times during our stay and will return should we return to kefalonia

As always Liza's food is homemade and delicious. Her daily specials are not to be missed. Sea bream is superb and the chicken with mozzarella was outstanding , all washed down with Liza's lovely house wine. Can recommend the red or the white. Please leave room for dessert as they are homemade and gorgeous. You must reserve a table. Call in during the day to reserve a table for the evening as it's a small restaurant and we've seen many disappointed people being turned away.We can't wait to go back to this restaurant next year.

We are a family run restaurant, we are offering a warm welcome to new and old friends, beautiful views, a relaxing atmosphere and delicious dishes cooked mainly from our own organic ingredients, free range and organic meats, or sourced locally.

From the day we met with Kostas and Annie last year all our wedding stress disappeared. We had a limited budget but they made sure will had a billion dollar wedding, it was priceless. They took care of all the complex paper work, with very clear timely instructions for our actions. Emails were responded to quickly and nothing was too much trouble. they kept us updated with costs (which were so reasonable). When we finally flew out with 22 guests we met with them 2 days before the wedding for final catch up, they were so kind and reassuring. Last minute questions and additions were included with no fuss (or charge)! they arranged transport from resort to our beautiful wedding beach, they arranged Maria the best photographer ( we were presented with a beautiful album before we flew home 3 days later). The celebrant was wonderful, our readings, vows and speeches all factored in. Annie totally understood my concept and added in perfect ideas of her own, my flowers surpassed my expectations (again incredible value), my cake was simplicity and delicious. The wedding breakfast was relaxed and scummy something for everyone and the local wine flowed. Canapes and prosecco followed the ceremony - we were in paradise! I cannot recommend them enough, all our dreams were surpassed. Eternally grateful! not one thing i can suggest to improve it was perfection.

Located on the Trapezaki Road! Specials change daily. Fast service and tasty grill souvlaki ,gyros and fresh salads .
We have eaten several times here. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food is really great Quality. The lamb chops, steak and the souvlaki are exceptional and really huge portions. The seafood souvlaki is my particular favourite.Last night I ordered moussaka, which I had enjoyed on a previous visit. This time though, it was seriously over cooked and I couldnât eat it.The waitress was excellent when I showed her and ordered something else. When it was time to pay, we realised we hadnât been charged for either the moussaka, or its replacement, which was a very nice gesture.Everyone can make a mistake, but they handled it very well and weâll eat there for sure on our next trip.

Original Greek Grill House! We grill fresh meat on real charcoals the time you order it! Limited menu to be always fresh for you. If you like gyros you should try our KONTOSOUVLI! Thank you!
During our two week stay in Trapezaki we visited this restaurant 4 times for food and twice sat in the lovely front garden for drinks. The service here is attentive and friendly. The owner Kiriakos introduced himself on the first visit and he and his team were very professional. We tried many of the dishes both from the main menu and specialities and all were excellent, plentiful and well priced. They take time to explain the dishes and give a choice of accompaniments. We would highly recommend a visit.

In the heart of the central square of Argostoli, there is a warm family running restaurant with traditional Greek cooking, fresh products (from our own farm) wines of the region and generous portions in cheap prices. All of this waits for you in our lovely
This was recommended in an old rough guide. We all tried something different, the meat pie was apparently super, I tried the aubergines imam after a salad starter. It was delicious. Thereâs a covered garden area through the restaurant which was perfect on a hot day.
