We stopped here for a light lunch and had the roasted vegetables and the bruschetta from the appetizers. The bruschetta was four pieces - two black olive tapenade, one eggplant, and one tomato. All were good but the tomato bruschetta was outstanding. The roasted veggies included radicchio, eggplant, carrots, zucchini, sweet potato?, and more. Good. House wine was good and reasonably priced. A tiny place. Eight tables and seats upto18. Personable waiter. I really enjoyed this place. Wish I had been hungrier and ordered more. Highly recommended!

My friends and I couldnât have wnjoyed our meal more...from the delicious ruby red cherry tomatoes to our amazing mains of sword fish rolls, seabass rolls with golden raisons, pine nuts on the most delicious zucchini puree and mushroom risotto....only to finish with an order of mouth watering pistachio parfait, cannolis and tiramisu that we all shared. The evening was rounded out with gracious service, especially our waiter, Luca. So worth a visit. You wonât be disappointed!!!

Not sure where to start. But I do know, is when youâve found a restaurant like this, it is almost an insult to not dedicate some words about this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Just from the moment we entered the restaurant, we were met by an outstanding friendly and positive staff. These folks are truly service minded, and not even once, you feel that it is a self-imposed routine, it is simply by heart. Due to last minute booking we got table behind the front row â meaning one step inside from those heading to the breathtaking sea view. After enjoying the starter and 1st glass of wine, we got the offer to move to the front row. Not because we asked to, but at their own initiative. Obviously, we accepted, and the staff moved all our table âgearâ in less than a few minutes. This is only one example (of many) of their nearly overwhelming care, attention and service-mind which belongs to another league than many other over-rated restaurants. When it comes to the food, let me put it this way: after tasting their dishes, the bar will be set for all your future restaurants visit. Exquisite, delicious, creative, you name it. An amazing firework of tastes. Every small detail made with the purpose to remind you that when it comes to food, everything tiny detail matters. We tried pasta, tuna, and steak. All in the category âthe best we ever hadâ. For dessert, we asked for simple ice cream, well, thatâs what we thought. It was homemade ice cream, which was the soft, balanced, not too sweet, best ice cream we ever tried. I must admit we are extremely picky both of us; âtoo muchâ, âtoo littleâ, âperhaps more or less salt & pepperâ. It felt almost strange to not have had any need for such criticism, not even once, what happened? I wonât consider myself an exaggerating person, but this time during dinning I caught myself thinking this was one of the best (if not THE best) dinner I ever had. It could have been the presence of my beautiful better half sitting by my side, the outstanding sea view, the friendly staff, the entire atmosphere. In any case, I tend to think this place provided all the âingredientsâ to make it the best dinner in my life so far. You simply know that this is those kinds of moments you will look back to. Always. Before leaving, me and my girlfriend, promised to visit this place again in the future to remind and revive this life-changing dinning and moment. We recommend this experience to anyone else (and almost âenvyâ those been lucky to enjoy this place)

Truly loved our 1 night stay ( and 3 meals!) at Villa Ducale. Perfect view, amazing friendly and genuine service with great staff, and fantastic food. Highly recommended for a non-touristy and relaxing escape in Taormina.

We visited Timoleone on our last night in Sicily and it was one of the best pasta dishes i have ever had in my life. We were seated right away in the quiet courtyard even though we didn't have a reservation. The beautiful flowering bushes and starry lights strung throughout the small space make this feel like a truly special experience. The service is extremely friendly and efficient (a big bonus!!). And then came the food. Wow. I was blown away and will definitely be going back when we next visit Taormina.Thank you very very much!It is our great pleasure to receive reviews like this.We can do everything for your satisfaction!Thank you!!

Can not recommend this place enough Santi was so helpful he helped us find our accommodation after feeling very lost, we then 100% had to come here to dine and did not regret it the food was beautiful and the service was outstanding. Extremely reasonable compared to a lot of restaurants in Taormina family run and amazing friendly atmosphere!

We had an excellent evening meal here in early October and were able to dine, al fresco, thanks to the warm weather. The service was friendly and attentive. The food delicious. The restaurant is located just 400 metres from the main pedestrian thoroughfare of Taormina (the Corso Umberto) and yet, the restaurant has a peaceful, relaxed ambience. Highly recommended.

What a clever concept - a deli that gives the opportunity to taste the produce. Described as a "tasting room", that's exactly what this restaurant with a well described and explained menu consisting different sharing boards (meat, cheese, veg or mixed). We went for the mixed meat and cheese accompanied by a very pleasant glass of red - and all local produce. The Sicilian olive oil was very flavoursome. Our board consisted of 5 different cheeses, proscuitto, ham, salami and bresaola with olives and vegetable accompaniments - all very delicious. If you want to get to the essence of Sicilian food, this is a great place for an authentic experience.

The presentation of all the courses was excellent. The service was top notch. Very friendly, fun and polite. Of course, the view is amazing and with the live music in the square made for a nice romantic anniversary dinner for us.Bonus was the number of meat dishes available compared to most restaurants in the area. The steak was outstanding as well as the Tiramisu dessert.Reserve a balcony table if you can. But the tables inside are also nice.
