Franco is the host, the cashier, the waiter... but most of all Chef. Stop by for a frest made tarte for breakfast, get a perfect expresso or cappuccino (he loves to talk coffee beans), but my favorite is his evening specials. He prepares in a small kitchen a fabulous meal and adds local wines. The stories are wonderful, so is his company. Don't miss this little gem if you are in Spello

Very nice personnel, very friendly, the place is simple, quite economic, and itâs good food, nothing extraordinary. Pasta is homemade, and I liked the onion jam that was with the cheese plate. It is nice they have soup in the menu too. grazie un abbraccio

You Have The Hotel But They Also Have A Restaurant Worth Of Note
We came during the Fiorefestival so there was a set menu where you could choose from 2 different Primi, Secondi and Dolce. We were both very happy with our meal very good. The winelist was impressive. We sat outside and had an excellent view over Umbria.

Pasta fatta in casa , carni alla brace , dolci fatti in casa
Went for lunch on a day trip to Spello. We weren't very hungry so decided to just share 3 antipasti. We had a raddichio, rocket, walnut and cheese sald, a zucchini, cheese and truffle souffle and melanzane beccafico (eggplant with currants, raisins). All really delicious. With cover charge, a glass of wine each and a litre of water it came to 29â¬. Good value for the quality of food. There is a small area at the front where you can sit outside and several beautiful rooms inside. Service was great. Plenty of vegetarian options and plenty for carnivores too. Several antipasti, pasta and meaty main courses on offer. They also had a good wine list which was very reasonably priced.

Staff is very nice and welcoming. Setting and surrounding could not be better. You are in a medieval village built on top of Roman houses...I was disappointed about food quality and cooking, as it was too elaborated or salty or overcooked. However, this is reflecting my personal taste. Other people might like this way of preparing food. Enjoyable and charming altogether, but I would shop around for better food experience.

This is a real must of you're in the mood for food. We had a great feed which was clearly made with passion. The service was friendly and helpful. Knowing Italian would be advisable but not mandatory. The food was well presented and hit all the important notes. The location is great and the view perfect.

The owner welcomed us with a lame "joke" ("we like people of your country because you've got a lot of money"), then wanted to serve us a wine of his choice without asking us, what we wanted, so we declined (be aware that a lot of the wines on the list are very pricey). The legume soup didn't taste like much either (nothing to do with an umbrian lentil soup).

Enoteca Properzio 2 is set in a very specific context, specifically in a place dating in 1550, part of the famous palazzo dei Canonici , next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore in Spello. Legend says that here Pinturicchio lived and worked in this e
The food is good in this place. The refreshing terrace is fine to rest. The owner however likes touching the women entering the shop. Not appropriate !

It's a new place run by young and talented guys, well decorated and cosy. The food was good and really plentiful, antipasto looked more like three course dinner. Pizza is giant, dough is thin and crispy. Nice place for dinner with a friends.
