Trough our new interior,as well as with our offer,we wanted to take you a few decades back in time. While looking in not-so-far past, and what was cooked in Dalmatian taverns and households, we created menu made exclusively from natural ingredients that a
We visited this restaurant after a recommendation from the fantastic Splendida Palace Hotel that we were staying. We had a fantastic dinner, great service and excellent local wine. Donât forget to make a recommendation. We watched many people try to get in without one and missed out on this fantastic restaurant.

After many years of working as a chef on cruise ships all over Dalmatia, and abroad, Zdravko Listes finally opened his own restaurant in the center of Split. Come find us at the beautiful downtown Split, Obrov ul. 8. near the fish market. Dishes that we o
This is our best food surprise in Split. It is absolutely delicous. better than other so said premium restaurants. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual, simple but authentic. The service is friendly and conveys the same mindset. You really feel like at home with an excellent cook-friend preparing diner for you. It is a must try. Get there as soon as you can, you must not miss this place.

We made a reservation for dinner via Faceboook and received a confirmation that our reservation was accepted. When we showed up at the restaurant, we were told very vociferously that they do not accept reservations even though I showed them the confirmation on my phone. Not sure if it is a language miscommunication. I could see that there was a table with a reservation sign on it. Decided to change tactics and asked them for a table for 7 people and they sat me at that table. Not sure what is going on.Food was delicious, wine was good and the portions very large. The prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended but be careful of the reservation issue. I see another reviewer had a similar experience.

A new vegetarian restaurant in Town... :-)
The restaurant was very comfortable, quirky decor, great music. Whilst we are not vegetarians it was good to try something different. The veggie burger was okay but could have benefited from a bit more flavour in my opinion. Service was good, waiter friendly and informative.

Trattoria Tavulin is small restaurant in Diocletian palace.
Great setting on a small square with comfortable outside seating.Very friendly staff and great service.Menu has something for everyone but not a huge selection which was helped us make our choices.Definitely worth the walk to get there and enjoy a pretty setting in the old town.

Little local place, quite and cozy atmosphere. Local Dalmatian food, homemade pasta, bread and marmelade with a lot of Mediterranean ingredients. You'll feel like one of the locals. Come, try, enjoy! P.S.. We have a very good choice of Croatian wines ;)
Located 5mns from the city walls, the restaurant can accommodate both indoor or outdoor dining, on their enclosed patio. We had:o seared tuna appetizer: this was truly delicious, cooked to perfection (which means slightly undercooked inside).o gaspacho (cold soup): very nicely done.o lamb shank: very tasty, if perhaps not as tender as I hopedo pasta dish: nicely doneTheir red wine (by the glass) put me back on friendly terms with Croatian wine and was very reasonable.Service was very good and the whole dinner was more affordable than I expected.Would definitely return.

Disappointed after reading so many good reviews. The Duck Bruschetta was bread with small slices of duck, not a tomato in sight, more like canapés. The Monk Fish Cagaru starter looked great but was inconsistent in temperature throughout - perhaps regenerated. Our burgers were good but the potatoes were inconsistent in temperature too. The bun was sesame not brioche. We made the restaurant aware of the temperature issue & they kindly offered us complimentary desserts/coffee which was appreciated.

WE ARE CLOSED FROM NOVEMBER TO APRIL! Our Cafe and Restaurant is situated in a romantic courtyard of the historical Dalmatian house in the old town of Split, just behind the Theatre. You will be seated on a beautiful terrace where delicious food is freshl
Good friends, whose recommendations we trust, suggested this restaurant. They dined here 3 weeks ago. We were not disappointed. We sat in a lovely courtyard outside with another couple. The restaurant has an extensive wine and cocktail list. Our server, Zeljko was fantastic. His suggestions for starters and entrees were spot on . He recommended the tarte flambé,which resembled a flatbread pizza, with prosciutto. It was fantastic, very flavorful but not heavy. Two of us ordered the rack of lamb, which was fantastic. My wife had the chicken breast which resembled chicken Milanese. It reminded me of the breaded chicken cutlets my Italian American mother would make!!! My friend ordered the Orata fish dish with risotto, and bragged he ordered the best dish at the table. The restaurant carried my favorite amaro,Ramazotti for after dinner drink. By this time the restaurant was nearly empty as we approached 10pm. We had a chance to talk with Zeljko about food, wine and Croatian history. He served us his fatherâs homemade grappa, which was fantastic. I asked if we could join his family for Christmas dinner ! It was a great way to end a wonderful evening .
