Came back to this great little place in Sermoneta. Must try the "Trombolotto" (a magical herb & lemon secret seasoning made by Fabio Stivali, the owner): "Tagliolini Trombolotto Bottarga all'Armagnac" & "Campagnola al Pistacchio e visciole" among the rest of the menu. Cannot go wrong as EVEYTHING is superb and far from the usual trattoria food. For desert try the " Crema Catalana flambée". Good selection of local wines and fast service. A must try place.Thanks Jaques is always a great pleasure to meet you in Sermoneta. Always kind and positive .These are the people that I like to meet the Simposio and I must say it's the thing I like most about my job.Many thanks and see you soon,, I come to visit you I swear.

We tried Giardino del Simposio for lunch on a sunny Saturday and totally fell in love with it. The place is quite small, so be sure to reserve a table. It's nicely located, with a relaxing atmosphere. The menu is all wrapped around Trombolotto. As the owner will explain you, it's an infusion of local lemon juice, olive oil and a mix of spices which grow in the area. It goes back to Middle Age as origin. You will be able to taste it with a bit of bread as soon as you sit. I found it delicious. We had as starter a mix of grilled veggie, fried artichoke (super tasty) and bruschetta with tomatoes and marinated anchovies. As main dish I tried the tuna carbonara and loved it. They will bring you the cooked fresh pasta and make the dish at your table, adding Trombolotto, tuna, a type of bread crumbs and bottarga. Also: it's possible to buy many of the ingredients directly at the restaurant or on-line. A highly recommended restaurant to try something different and new while at the same time re-discoverying the tradition of this beautiful town!Thanks for the wonderful review, we hope to see you soon in Sermoneta..ciao Fabio

This place is really GOOD, they make all real farm food produced by themselves, everything starting from the wine to the pasta and all the rest. You can choose the whole menù with only â¬25 eating all the things that you see on my pictures. One of the best in the entire Lazio region including all restaurants of Rome.

Locale recentemente rinnovato, reso più moderno, ma sempre ancorato ai sapori veri della tradizione... veramente speciali le pizze, ben lievitate e dai condimenti unici, questa volta la mia scelta è caduta sulla "mog" crema di funghi, prosciutto cotto alla brace e parmigiano, semplicemente ... personale alla mano e servizio rapido... da provare!

We were looking for a restaurant in Bassiano and I read the reviews in Tripadvisor and following their ratings we booked a table for two at this restaurant for our sunday lunch. Amazing place, lovely decor with wood inside and the terrace where we had lunch with wooden floors. Menu as depicted by other TripAdvisor members and I can but endorse that this is a true number one place. Antipasti - we shared one between us, then shared a dish of pasta - pacheri with pecorino, broad green beans - (fagioli corallina) and Pachino tomatoes - deliciously smooth. My husband had rabbit with a very smooth and delicate sauce made of dried tomatoes - lovely ! I had the picanha meat dish for the first time in my life and it was sublime ! The side dish consisted of stirred seasonal veggies with very little oil, which I liked, thank you! And then to end our meals I tasted a semifreddo with hazelnut and mint sauce - absolutely fantastic. Wine suitable to our meal and from a local producer - went down only too well !! The people there, waiters and owners, are simply lovely and with genuine smiles, We managed to chat with the lovely couple at the table next to ours which was rather nice, too. I can but recommend the venue for what ever event you may have in mind . If I may just say that the place was a bit tricky to find, at least with my navy, but we got there luckily !, Thank you.thanks Patricia for spent this word about our restaurant , some people like you for one better world . you are welcome :-). see you later..

If you are lucky enough to happen to reach this place you will be definetely be enchanted by this marvelous cousine and settings.Whatever you choose, whether it's meat or fish, you have a variaty of dishes to pick from and would never get disappointed. Let Maurizio suggest you the kind of wine to accompain the meal, he will definately make the perfect match. End you gastronomic voyage through the delicious taste of the highly selected cakes, you won't regret any single bite! The price? Exactly what you would expect from a high quality food restaurant, but in any case the price written on the menu. Fair price, I'd say!
