Als Mezedes be
What a great recommend! We ate aubergine, whole squid, lamb chop, souvlaki-chicken, beef, and pork, greek salad, beer, etc... for 38 euro! The food was great. And I'd eat here again just for the great service! Excellent. Thank you very much for the nice Feedback!

Good restaurant. Great service, and the food tastes amazing. But unfortunately there was a huge language barrier there as my friends and I all spoke English, and all of the waiters English speaking skills weren't the best!Go somewhere else if you only speak English.

Modern meets history The Markgraf gives the Backnang townhouse a new twist. It combines exciting regional and international dishes, an appealing bar culture and relaxed music. A location that combines a charming restaurant, bar, beer garden and event loca
I'd been to various iterations of the Bürgerhaus restaurant before, but only the Markgraf has got my repeated custom. I was thre for my wedding anniversary and the food was plentiful, beautifully presented and tasty and the bar very relaxed. Service is friendly and helpful, possibly with a little something on the house after. The best German restaurant in Backnang, I would say. Highly recommended and not just for pre-theatre food (although combining it with a trip to the Bürgerhaus above is obviously a pretty logical thing to do).

This is a lovely restaurant smack dab in the middle of the main square of Ohringen. There are 2 sections to it, one to the left as you walk in, looking a bit fancier, and the other on the right, apparently more casual-bigger tables, no tablecloths. But, we were seated on the right, which was the "right" choice for us, as it had no children. This was the evening of the fest of the Ganz Festival in this duck-crazy part of Germany. Many restaurants were closed, as not only was there a fest during the day, but it was also a Sunday. So, we considered ourselves lucky to find the Piazza Mediterrane. Then, we ordered - and discovered just how lucky we were! Rucola Pizza, arrogula salad as well, and a bottle of good red Italian wine (though I don't remember the name). My husband, evil man, ordered a pizza with truffle oil. Well, THAT blew the lid off of sharing. We're still married, but it was a bit dicey. That pizza was just so very, very good. Mine was lecker, as the Germans say, but his was fork-fighting good. The staff were all so very nice, albeit rushed at times. But, they made the effort to speak English, while we answered back in our pitiful German. A lovely evening, in a sweet town. Good food and nice people: what more do you need?

I hosted a business dinner here and everyone had a great time. The service was efficient and friendly. Meal portions were very large and everyone's food was excellent. The Beer selection, as one would expect, was varied and no one complained.

One thing to know about Crailsheim is that very few restaurants open on Mondays. Our group walked for a while looking to find somewhere that would be open and stumbled into Acanto. We were very pleasantly surprised! Sat on the patio, which is quite large. I ordered, strange choice in germany, but they had this curry salmon stew and it was really really great. Delicious preparation. I recall everyone enjoyed their food, but I was particularly impressed, I've just never had anything like that. I recall prices were a little higher than other places we went but still fairly reasonable. Great service, we really liked our waiter.

After being in Schwäbisch Hall for several months the visit at OHSO was the first culinary wow-experience. Finally a restaurant that respects local products and interprets those products in a new way. The décor of the restaurant, the service are in line with this idea - to-the-point, efficient and friendly. I felt properly taken care of â however the huge surprise is Simonâs innovative, simple and tasty kitchen. There are just 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts on the menu. However the choice remains difficult as there are so many interesting options. Even simple dishes like the mixed salad turn out to be full of surprises â I sticked to the vegetarian options (salads of beans âSchwarzaugenbohnenâ and roll from potatoes âKartoffelrouladeâ) and have been rewarded with a bouquet of great flavors. What I found so surprising is game of flavors and textures â there is a young master in the kitchen. I hope that Simon and his team will continue to have success and delight guests in this pretty town and that I have the chance for more visits in the future.Dear Michael H,it is very pleasant to read all your kind words and the detailed description of your experience at our restaurant. Thank you for your great feedback, we are looking forward to see again at Ohso!Best regards,S. Würtz

Nice outdoor atmosphere, complimented by young, friendly (if sometimes slow) waitstaff. Tasty, mostly foreign-inspired food, and a menu that varies pretty much daily. A tad pricey, but worth it if you want to mix with the locals or catch some good non-Swabian cuisine.

The server is excellent I drove 26km to see the review from the chat and really good food. It was a really good choice. The waitress is the add value.

Iâve been to Alt Hall several times and each time Iâve been, the food has never disappointed me!Alt Hallâs cuisine is Greek. Although I havenât had food in Greece yet, I imagine they would taste rather similar!Menus are in German and English so itâs easy enough to find what you want. They also have a wide selection of dishes - almost every meat type you can think of, they have it.Iâd recommend their seafood dishes - the calamari and grilled octopus are simply delicious and cooked perfectly resulting in tender dishes instead of rubbery ones which tend to happen when you overcook these meats. Even the salmon I had in the fish platter was amazing! We also shared a meat platter - the lamb and beef were cooked well, with a slight pink in the centre. Also very tender with a nice chargrill taste. Each time Iâve been to Alt Hall has been an enjoyable experience and would definitely head back again the next time Iâm in Schwäbisch HallSher A, thank you for your review.
