Sayulita is a busy place and from the tiny tables streetside at Felafel & Friends you can see all the action of street performers and people watching. The hostess was friendly and welcoming and our lamb burgers with home fries packed a lot of flavor and the buns were homemade. We didn't find lamb on many restaurant menus so it made a nice change.

Wandered into this restaurant because of the delicious aromas wafting out the door and decided to return later for dinner. We were not disappointed! The owner greeted us and fully explained the menu. She was warm and informative. We tried several very interesting cocktails which were unique and delicious. Kabobs were amazing - We went with the recommended specials and were not disappointed. We visited twice just to try more menu items. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. And we can't say enough about the bread! Don't miss this wonderful addition to the diverse restaurant scene in Sayulita.

To the beach for violet sunsets then Matiz popped into view. Wanting a taco crawl, we settled for tapas. Nicely done ! Shortly thereafter a great horn blower and 4 piece jazziest showed up on the plaza. What a treat. Wonderful Brie and strawberries for dessert. Tomato and mozzarella salad, pine nuts and pesto, really. It was great.
