This is a restaurant around 30-40 minutes outside Genoa. If you arrive in the evening there is nothing much to see. The food comes as multiple small courses. It is not the top Italian food you will ever eat but it is perfectly acceptable home style cooking.

Small family-run trattoria 35 covers in winter. Possibility to eat in the open air in summer. Typical products and revisited Ligurian cuisine. Possibility to visit the stallological museum. Menu for vegetarians and vegans Menu for
We (7) went there since we heard good comments about the place. The owners were kind enough to open for us as we were the only customers booked for that eve. The restaurant is in an extremely small village in Valbrevenna. Few dare to live there during the winter.Menu was fixed and based on local dishes /recipes.....without going in details about the various courses it can be simply said that food was average. Besides we were served pretty fast since owners had to work the following morning (running the restaurant is a part time occupation). In the end we were also told that price per head previously agreed at the time of the booking has to be revised upwards allegedly because of some additional courses.......We paid the bill and did not bother to remind the owners we brought our own wine Most probably none of us will go there again

Great experience. food portions were right and balanced. We were able to eat from appetizer to desserts without feeling full. Staff was gentle and punctual. Food was very tasty and delicate. Quality / price is excellent

Senza dubbio ci torneremo in inverno.

Quite a small place but just like most restaurants in small towns, service was very friendly and staff speaks a bit of English. My pesto ravioli was very tasty and cheesy. And the dessert was simply heavenly...see my picture of it dripped with melted chocolate. Also I was glad they took AmEx.

Excellent, beautifully presented food in a cozy, small restaurant. We were given an amuse bouche of chickpea "fries," strips of chick pea batter deep fried and delicious in addition to being unique. The dishes are traditional for the area but elegantly presented. I had tagliatelle with white trufffle with an egg yolk on top to create an unctuous delicious sauce...spectacular! The restaurant is also an enoteca with an excellent wine list with many excellent but affordable wines. Worth many return visits!!

Situated in an area to catch the tourist this restaurant is in a nice location but has no views. The food was very "ordinary" but fairly priced.I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who appreciates good quality Italian food. However as a family restaurant it was affordable and had dishes that would appeal to the majority.
