With authentic food, typical of the region delivered with excellent customer service from this lovely family Trattoria. So glad we attended this restaurant. The son of the family served us politely with good English (much appreciated) and knowledge of the food & wine on offer.

Ristorante molto bello e âfrescoâ sulle colline modenesi.

Corte d'Aibo, organic production since 1990 The agriturismo offers hospitality in 12 comfortable rooms with air conditioning and satellite tv. Rooms customers can access a swimming biolake with a beautiful view on the vineyards. The restauranti is well ap
The food served is all about quality. But, the food lack of saisonning. The service is good. The organic wines is very good. If you take the Orfeo; the wine need to breathe a minimum of one hour to be less strong. If you take all courses the price is good (Around 30 Euro). BUT, after a big day organized with Italian Days, with a lot of foods... We arrived for dinner with a very small appetite.. We ask to eat only a soup. The waiter said: are you sure? We said yes. An another time for the lunch on our arrival, we ate only pasta. Because the full menu is too much and the waitress said we can do that. When we have done the check Out for the agriturismo; the price charged was 16 Euro for each soup. 32 Euro for 2 soups! The most expensive soup of my life! Also for the pasta, 32 Euro for each plate. 64 Euro for 2 plates of pasta. Again, the most expensive pasta of my life!!! We ask why? And the answer was it's a fixed menu with a fixed price. You are lucky we charge you the bambini price for the soup. For the person at the check-out it seems normal to pay this price. The waiter never told us that we needed to pay the full price for only a soup or a plate of pasta. For me, it's kind of rip-off.So, if you are not hungry or half hungry, don't eat there!! Be aware.Dear Friend, thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Corte D'Aibo Bio Agriturismo. We understand we cannot meet always all your expectations but we try to work out and upgrade our services considering your feedbacks.Regarding your considerations about restaurant services and charges we would like to explain we actually said that the menu had a fixed price for the food tasting menu and when we do recieve orders we have to prepare all the fixed menu. The waiter probably wasn't able to explain clearly that the price for the menu was not going to change even if you were going to consume only one item instead all of them. That explain why the main dishes you consumed had such an high price. But that is the price you agreed on reservation and that we were supposed to serve upon your arrival. Our Restaurant is serving different fixed tasting menu's snce 20 years and that's our brand. The first time we charged only 16 euros instead the full price (kids charge), the second time with the tasting menu that was 32 we had to charge the full amount even if you consumed only pasta (with wine and water like for the soup). We maybe could explain better our policies but we feel you agreed clearly at beginning what the total menu cost that you orderedWe apologize again for this misunderstanding but we believe that none of the staff had a "ripp-off" attiytude with you during your stay. Please come back again to visit us and we will try to exceed your expectation for your next journey in Italy into our beautyful landscape.Best RegardsMarziaGuest Relations

This small Trattoria really sets the bar a bit higher. The food was just amazing. The waitress got out of her way to explain every dish on the menu (only Italian). We were seated inside because of a thunderstorm shortly before but it was pleasant (except the steep stairs). The wine list is also good. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions of food. The location is on a hilltop, so don't forget to walk further up and enjoy the view!

I love try the local and typical cuisine when we are abroad and this was exceptional. One dish that was quite unique was a "pesto:" of raw bacon. The view and the wine and the attentive owners made for a memorable late lunch.

Puglia cuisine
Several times I spent my dinner in this cosy restaurant, before to decide to review. Yesterday night with my wife, our two children, we booked a table outside and got a really outstanding experience: 2 "acciughe Marinate con panzanella", 1 "zuppetta di cozze e vongole", 1 "orecchiette sea flavour's", 1 "Thuna fish carpaccio",1 dormouse and squid fried and finally two half portions one of grilled big shrimps and one of big shrimps salt and pepper. Hard to find out the right adjectives to describe each kind of sea food tasted, one for all: awesome! Listen, up to me this is one of the best sea food experience that you can get in between from Modena and Bologna. Is true, the menù isn't so extended but the fish freshness and how the sea food is coocked is out of the question. Great! Something to improve: I tasted several of the white wine available, good but no one at the same level of the cuisine. The owner may be try to safeguard relation between quality and price but personally I would prefer spend some euro more to get Wine quality higher. Some advice of white wine "sea food oriented" not so known and not so expensive: vermentino di sardegna cala silente delle cantine Santadi', pecorino abruzzese di Pasetti, vermentino ligure di Bisson, pigato di Laura Aschero. Grande Domenico! A presto!P.S. Final bill with sparkling water and a bottle of forgettable Fiano d'Avellino ⬠95.00

The over 80 ladies who ran this place are absolutely adorable and their food is even better! The two sisters and their delightful waitress are a spectacle just by being there, but when they start cooking...boy o boy...those tagliatelle ragout are to die for! Definitely go!!
