El Campo is a restaurant - braseria, located in a traditional Mallorcan country house, surrounded by almond groves which makes it an ideal place for relaxed meals in the company of family, friends or for business meetings. The food is Mediterranean style
This is by far the best restaurant I ate at during a week stay in the Cala d'Or area. Out in the country, a short 10 minute ride from the touristy bustle of downtown Cala d'Or. Excellent service in a friendly and welcoming style. A great selection of fish and meets and paella, all tasting excellent. This is a most go place, much needed after struggling to find a place that does not serve blend generic food in this area.

This new restaurant hides its light under a bushel. What appears to be an 'ethical' café, which markets itself as a 'gluten-free, 0 Km, healthy' restaurant, suitable for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores, is really a very high-end restaurant. The owner/chef has spent time in highly rated kitchens around the world, with all his experience gained evident on a highly creative menu, filled with original ideas.I would normally run a mile from any eatery that markets itself as a gluten-free cafe, or any such trendy description. But we went here on the recommendation of friends who have dined in some of the world's best restaurants. Open barely a month, the slightly spartan, homespun appearance belies its genuine gastronomy.The fact that Retroway is 100% gluten-free may be part of their selling proposition but to non-coeliacs like us, this is completely irrelevant. However, the fact that everything on the menu is market-bought and sourced locally, grown organically and of the highest quality is very relevant and it shows. The menu is complemented with a large specials offering, full of original and delicious ideas.We were blown away and we'll be back.woow thank you very much for your words and to take your time to write this review for us. This is a lovely restaurant in an old house near the outskirts of SantanyÃ. The courtyard is very pleasant and atmospheric, and the staff is pleasant. We had mixed reactions on the food. The soup and pasta dishes were bland, while the goat cheese and pear starter and lamb main dish were good. I am glad we tried the restaurant, but would not return.

Dined here recently and had a good selection of tapas - baby squid, dates in bacon, salmon croquetas, Padron peppers, goat cheese and figs, gambas al jailli, tumbet, duck confit, chicken livers. Two créma catalana, one carpaccio of pineapple with ice nd two coffees, plus a Macia Battle white and an Armero Adrover red brought the bill to Euros 167 for four. Very good food, service, setting and value.

Really nice place to eat the starter of 5 tapas dishes on 1 plate was amazing you get to try a few different starters that was and is probably big enough to share, the calamari was also nice and very well cooked. The main coarses were really nice to we both enjoyed lovely dishes the salmon ravioli was nice but pasta a touch to thick and the turbot fish dish was lovely. We had no room for dessert, the staff were excellent all dressed smart and always had a smile on their faces. Would recommend this place for a lovely comfortable evening.

Revisited this place recently and were delighted that it continues to ge better......We had scollops, heritage tomatoes with burrata and basil for starters, then sea bass with spinach and mash - outstanding! - while our fiends hadthelmb chops. Dessert was gratnated raspberries with sabayon and ice cream. House red and white wines plus four glasses of rose cava brought the bill to Euros 300 including a tip, for four. A very high level of culinary skill demonstrated here.

The Anoa Santanyi is very much a dining experience to remember. Having arrived in Santanyi, we had our first experience at The Anoa and their lovely staff. We returned later in the week and fully explored their menu, from pizza and pasta to fish and meat and it was the best meal of the trip. Not only is the food delicious, the restaurant staff were extremely accommodating, making room for our rather large party of ten and even allowing half portions so that we could fully enjoy our food. It is worth making a reservation for this restaurant, not only due to itâs popularity, but also for the wonderful experience on offer. If there if a Birthday on your trip, they will make the celebration.

Everything was superb from the sparkling room, lovely staff, excellent food and of course the location above the marina with superb views. Special mention to Sergio, Luis and Sylvie and all the pleasant staff. A memorable visit. We shall return.

I am neither vegetarian nor vegan, but love this restaurant! They serve an "Ã la carte" dinner July through August (the curry is to die for!) and a buffet the rest of the year. All of the food is vegetarian, with many gluten-free and vegan options (more than half). Most of the vegetables even come from their own garden!
