Located in the lower district of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, very close to the bullring. Founded in 1947, since its inception, we have been a family restaurant, with friendly treatment to our customers and where you can taste the fried pescaÃto, our hallmark.
Favorite place for seafood. Children welcome and both of mine (3 and 7 years) eat well everytime. Fish is fresh, everything well prepared and served rapidly. Can't be best for price/quality/service. Good for casual dining or any type of meal (friends/family/business) or to show off local seafood to visitors.Good afternoon Jonathan L, first of all thank the time you have placed in our local review. It is always flattering to read your opinion about our work. We are happy to serve you again.

Our cuisine is based on the enhancement of local and seasonal products. Manzanilla sherry and fine tapas
This restaurant immediately made us feel at ease - contemporary style in historic building - in our experience the most modern approach to cuisine we encountered in Sanlúcar. Brilliant selection of local dishes with a twist paired with expert & super friendly service. On top Jose reconnected us with our past - he showed us the terrace where we had stayed at the top of the building 28 years before. Highly recommended!

We are in Spain celebrating various birthdays in the family and wanted to have a special dinner on Tuesday . With there being 9 of us we needed to book. The staff were extremely helpful and booked us in. We were told that unfortunately they couldnât guarantee that the top room of the restaurant would be open due to the fact it isnât summer. The top room has big windows overlooking the river so it would have been better. When we arrived the top room was open and they gave a great table in the window and we could watch the sun setThe staff were very attentive explaining the menu and helping with portions of shared starters. The food was exceptional and I agree with the general consensus that it is the best fish restaurant in San Lucar We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and service we received

Open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (July and August, we opened from thursday to sanday). La Taberna El Loli is a saleroso Andalusian and Spanish restaurant cuisine located in the old town of Cadiz population of Sanlucar, in the Barrio Alto. It
Taberna El Loli is our favourite restaurant in Sanlucar and one we have regularly visited in the 10 years of living here. They have also recently opened a sister restaurant in Valdelagrana in El Puerto de Santa de Maria with a slightly shorter menu but it is also very good. The service is always professional and friendly. We love the food which is better value than very similar restaurants located on the Bajo de Guia and above all we value the consistency of the dining experience there. Our favourite dishes are the grilled fish (tuna, corvina), coquinas (small clams) in garlic, the cigalas (Dublin bay prawns) in garlic and any of the fried fish dishes. On Friday night we also tried the grilled Sargo (type of sea bream) which was delicious. Their jamon is excellent. They also do a variety of meat dishes including beef fillet steak which are very good. The only point to be aware of is the tendency to over salt dishes (stews especially) so we usually ask for less salt when placing an order for grilled fish or meat. They have a quite extensive wine list and also do a range of sherries by the glass. There is the usual list of desserts plus a tarta de platanos (banana tart) which is a version of banoffee pie and also bizcocho de datiles (sticky toffee pudding) which is the closest we have ever had to the English dessert in Spain! The restaurant is located in Barrio Alto, the high part of town and away from the main tourist areas but is still within about a 10 minute walk of Sanlucar's main square, Plaza Cabildo.

Nuestras raÃces sanluqueñas nos hacen conocer los productos de la tierra y su cocina perfectamente. En Lantero las señas de identidad de nuestros platos son la alta calidad de los productos de la tierra que elaborados con el toque aragonés que nos caracte
We had 2 weeks eating our way around Andalucia and our 2 meals in Lantero were some of the best we had. The service was exemplary with the waiter being attentive and recommending excellent dishes. We had the meatballs and the cod on the first night and a whole fresh fish the next night. As someone who is familiar with Spanish food, I can say they have the same raw ingredients as other restaurants but add an extra touch that elevates things to a level far beyond the ordinary. Well worth a visit and it won't break the bank. Thank you Alice W! :) We are very happy for your opinion

Went two times on a saturday night. Food is nice, prices are very affordable. Nice wine list. Very well organised service, friendly, everything goes fast. Good place, but if you want a quiet romantic dinner, better stay out of the touristic centre.

My partner and I are here and the food was wonderful. I had the pigs cheeks with chick peas, tapas portion, the pigs cheeks were melt in your mouth succulent. I also had the lambs kidney tapas, also delicious. I ordered the duck risotto and it was beautifully cooked. The duck was shredded and the rice was cooked perfectly. For dessert I had arroz de leche (rice pudding) infused with beautiful citrus notes and my partner had the warm chocolate pudding with vanilla ice cream. I didnât get a photo of the rice pudding as I virtually inhaled it, it was THAT good. This is a wonderful place to eat, highly recommended

Since this place re-opened under new ownership (after a complete refit and the owners having moved from a nearby location) in spring 2017 we have been a number of times. The outside terrace is lovely for summer nights and spring/autumn lunches. Inside is light and calming with plants hanging from the ceiling skylights.Food is excellent and good value and there is a good choice of wines too. We have enjoyed some of their signature dishes in particular: starters of ensaladilla de gambas which is served warm, fantastic croquetas, ropa vieja of corvina (potato, chickpea, corvina fish and garlic all mashed together!) and tartaki of tuna. Their rice main courses are excellent as is the grilled corvina served with a creamy scallop sauce and oven baked dorada. We also have enjoyed their sucking pig and steak. To finish they do an excellent chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.Occasionally the service has been a little hit and miss, but only when the restaurant is very busy, generally it is very pleasant. We revisit for special occasions.

Our favourite town in all of Spain, our sixth visit; so we know places to eat and drink. This is a great addition - real choice of beers and wines and we tried a bonito tapa, and a Fish Bao; both different, tasty and real value.Looks like it might be our new local; close to the ânew/oldâ market, and the O, near where we stay.Te amo, Tesorillo!

For Spain, and for a smallish provincial town like Sanlucar, this was a very special place. Nice location overlooking the river, but not too far from the centre. Modern and attractive inside. Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive service. And most importantly, the food was interesting and very well cooked. We had some croquetas to start, which were crispy outside and soft and melting inside. Two rice dishes (black, and green risotto) were intensely flavoured and extremely tasty. Washed down by a bottle of local rose, which is slightly salty (like the manzanilla), cold and flavoursome. Fantastic value for the quality - and inexpensive anyway. Highly recommended!
