Definitely the place to go for a special occasion / celebration. Such a huge variety of wines to choose from and delectable food to go with it. Beautiful decor and ambience. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Dress up and make your special occassion even extra special at Verdicchio.

Mezepoli is one of our favorite restaurants because my wife, who is vegan ( but will eat vegetarian when she is out ) has great options, and I can get my sushi, lamb chops, meatballs etc ( you get the picture).The service is always great - friendly and professional. The selection of food, which has always been Mediterranean, has been broadened to include sushi ( not really Mediterranean but it does now cater for a wider clientele). There have also been some other changes to he menu, such as Serrano ham ( really tasty). The core of the menu however remains Greek.Once again, a great lunch.Hi, thank you for your review and excellent feedback! This was the perfect place to catch up with friends. It was a super, special leisurely and appetising lunch that was absolutely enjoyable to see, hear, taste and experience.Fried Haloumi; Zucchini Fries; Hummus Loaded; Tarama; Pita Bread; Falafels; Fried Calamari; Village Greek Salad; Plated Chicken Souvlaki; Skinny Lamb Chops and Chips ... all freshly prepared and seasoned perfectly. To finish off, we only had space for coffees.Great atmosphere, fantastic service, good quality and generous quantities of Greek food. We went to a show on Saturday and wanted a meal in Monte Casino after checking out TripAdvisor who rated at 4.5 stars. Menu choice was disappointing, limited selection to choose from especially the pasta / pizza options. One of our group ordered Calamari but they could offer rice as a starch, only fries or mash potatoes. I requested an alcohol free beer they had no stock. Ordered water instead and the waitron brought a 750ml bottle for a single person. Service was slow and we had to ask for the bill to get to our show in time. Would I recommend this to other diners, unlikely ! The only attraction for a quick fast food type meal is the location. We were early for lunch, but were welcomed and seated like old friends. We ordered small glasses of tea for our table and savoured the warm glasses on a slightly chilly day. We opted for a large platter, serving five. Bowls with bright, crisp vegetables and salads, and bowls with sauces, dips and spreads accompanied a large platter covered in beef, chicken, lamb. What a feast! Every dish was tasty, fragrant, flavourful, and prepared with fresh ingredients. We ate like kings and then ended the meal with another round of tea. The service was professional and attentive, even when the restaurant filled up at lunch time. Ideal for big eaters who enjoy tasteful food.

We have enjoyed the grilled King Clip here before but today one dish was served a little raw probably because it was refrigerated for too long or not grilled well enough.The waitresses were friendly but the bill took long to come.The same meal at the same restaurant in Cape Town was served very well. This restaurant came highly recommended, and although it was very busy we had both excellent service from our waiter Edson and nice food. The Veal Porcini was rated the best choice of our four meals. We will be back, next time we are in this neck of the woods.

This place promotes itself as a premium restaurant. Don't be fooled by the fake advertising. Its noisy and overpriced. We went for an evening with business partners. We could hardly talk to each other as the noise level in the restaurant as determined by a Cell noise level app was 86 decibels. That's like sitting by a very noisy road.The food was very average. My T-Bone stake was nothing more than a Rump with bone on two sides. Roast potatoes were soggy and the puree completely missing. All this for R350.00!! Rip off. When I complained to the floor manager he simply did not comprehend that a T-Bone stake should have meat on both sides of the T.The cutlery on the tables was basic canteen standard. I would have had a better experience at a franchise restaurant at a third of the price.
