Since 1984, the Osteria del Vicolo Nuovo has offered wonderful years of great food and passion. The 17th-century rooms are dominated by the warm laughter of Ambra Lenini, professional sommelier and a born hostess, and the more discreet friendliness of Ros
Primo: salad with warm artichoke and Parmeggiano-ice was geniously presented and tastes were balanced into perfectionSecundo:fried monkfish tail bites with homemade mayonnaise was also a feast. Food was nothing special compared to The restaurants in countryside. A place that i would not consider to revisit. Veal was good but the bread in the table was dry had been sat there for hours and not good. Pasta with truffles lacked the taste. Seabass was served without lemon and was tasteless. Really not the quality for Italian quisine.

The restaurant is located in the historic center of Imola and is located across the street of the same name, which formerly housed the workshops of the tanner, from the Latin 'callegarius'. The modern furniture, sober and elegant, enriched by statues Flor
Nice and discreet located. Quite small. Top of the art owner/Maitre Dâ . Friendly but upper class atmosphere. Quite interesting cooking. A special note for Fiori di Zucchine prepared differently from the one we had few years ago in the Jewish Quarter of Rome. Started with fried baby squids excellent done. Also the home made pasta with prosciutto was very good. Iâll suggest to start with a bite of the excellent home made bread and few drops of the local olive oil. For me was a surprise to find such a robust taste and balanced acidity so farther north. Maybe a bit less perfumed than the southern oils, but, again good touch in the mouth. Portions a bit small. Price decent.Dear sirFirst of all let me thank you very much for your review on trip Advisor, i am very happy you appreciated our restaurant. As regard your concern about the portion size and price i would like you to note that you were five people in your table and shared two appetizers, you only ate the "TORTELLI",off course they might look small but in fact they are not because they are meant to be for one person. However i hope to see you again in Imola.Best regards Leonardo Mantovani

We were blown over by the top quality of this restaurant. In the heart of Brisighella these cooks serve up the most amazing regional food. We had tongues for starters and pigs cheeks for mains! The meat was so tender and beautifully cooked and served that it was a joy to sit there with an organic bottle of wine, again locally made, under the cobble arches on a Saturday night in beautiful Brisighella! Top marks!

The restaurant does not even worth one star, not to mention two stars. It really makes me wonder how are the stars awarded?!? We are Michelin restaurants aficionados, we travel extensively and always follow the guide, but this time the restaurant is not even close to one Bib Gourmand distinction.Old fashioned food nothing special, truffles with not even a bit of scent/aroma, mediocre food, nothing special. We eat in at least 6-7 michelin stared restaurants per year, but this kind of disapointment we only faced in japan this year...Value for money extremely poor, stay away if you are a connaiseur.

Was traveling through Brisighella and selected Cantina del Bonsignore based on previous positive reviews on Tripadvisor so expectations were quite high. The place itself is beautiful and somewhat romantic. The food is incredible. Small selection of dishes. In my view, appetizers and first courses are the best. We had some ravioli with cream and pinoli and truffle on top. Absolutely fantastic. Good main dishes primarily focused on meat in line with regional cuisine. Very good wine selection as well as service quality: easy going and professional at the same time. Overall excellent value for money. I am planning to go back to Brisighella also to return to this great restaurant!

We had possibly the worst meal we've ever had in a foreign country here recently. It was a lamb dish and was reminiscent of the most dreadful school dinner - tough, tasteless and horribly fatty. Nothing to commend it. Even the accompanying red wine was ghastly. Maybe we were unlucky on this particular day, or maybe this was how this dish was meant to taste?Ok, the surroundings were nice enough and our waitress was very pleasant but that's about it. Oh, well, you live and learn, I guess.

When we first arrived the staff were charming and attentive. The starters were very good, but then we had a long wait for our main course, and when it came the lamb was totally overcooked and the grilled fish was dry and had obviously been kept warm. It was a special evening for us and we were not prepared to make a fuss, but the staff did not even come and ask us how our meal was. I left most of mine and did tell them why, but no apology was forthcoming. We got the bill and left. Very disappointing and not what I expected in such a pretty place.
