Reviews on Mediterranean food in Reggio Calabria, Province of Reggio Calabria, Italy. Perhaps you're in town simply to catch a ferry to Sicily. If you can, though, try to take a later boat so you can explore Reggio di Calabria. The Lungomare road is a spectacular seaside walk. And the Bronzi di Riace, ancient Greek bronze statues discovered in the early 1970s, are worth seeking out at the Museo Nazionale della Magna Grecia.

This place was tucked away in a side street but well worth the effort to find it. The food we had was delicious, local fish cooked in an innovative way and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent and they spoke some English. The girl on reception went out of her way to be helpful. The 2 local white wines were very good, particularly the Greco di Bianco.

MYAD1 The project is the brainchild of the Mancuso brothers , the place is innovative both as environment and as a kitchen . In their menu as well as an excellent variant of pizzas , you will find a varied selection of appetizers of delicious pasta and ex
The restaurant serves quality food in a nice setting. Good place to bring your partner. Some attention has been given to the decor and in how they put together the food. Prices still very reasonable. My vegetable risotto was good, and the chocolate tortino was excellent (see pics). Recommended. PS Situated in a somewhat deserted part of town but worth finding!

A unique atmosphere in the heart of the Mediterranean Ea-ting and not sim-ply feed, is a con-scious choi-ce, an emo-tion. And it is an emo-tion that take shape the in-gre-dien-ts used by Chef Fi-lip-po Co-glian-dro for the "com-po-si-tion" of the a la car
It's a classy establishment at a reasonable priced. Impeccable service and great food. Swordfish with prawns was perfect, succulent and just right. Sea bass was excellent too. For 4 entrees and a bottle of wine for the 4 of us we paid less than 90 euros

We travelled on the local train to Pellaro from Reggio do Calabria. We arrived rather disbelieving that there could be a sensational eating place only to be totally amazed by what we found .... Behind a plain facade a very sophisticated restaurant worthy of London or New York but without any pretentiousness and much better value. Everything was immaculate . The food was some of the most memrorable we have ever eaten. All local fish. All zingingly fresh. The presentation of the food was superb. Flavour combinations were exciting and successful . The wine was equally excellent. The service could not have been better. The husband and wife team are perfect WOW ... What a meal! Immediately booked for Saturday night! We're this place in London or Rome you would wait six months for a reservation .What a find!!! There is a passion here for excellence, a love of food and wine and a desire to give a wonderful experience...this is rare in the modern world! An oasis!Seek it out!You will be rewarded with some sensational food!

Timo is a Restaurant in the centre of Reggio Calabria, near Sant'Agostino Square. Here you can taste Traditional dishes with a new interpretation. A new way to propose the Mediterranean Cuisine with new proposals and new receipts created by the Chef Pietr
A new and modern restaurant, opened only a few weeks by the Chef Pietro C. takes the local dishes and transforms them into haute cuisine. A modern decor and air conditioning makes you think you could be anywhere in London, NYC or Frankfurt. While you wait your food you are regaled with chunks of parmesan and slices of local cured meat, the slicing machine and the whole wheel of parmesan proudly placed in the middle of the restaurant. I had a bottle of the local Ciro' red....exquisite

An over rated pizzeria Chaotic service, pizza ok but not as you would expect given the hype.Staff didnât seem to have a clue, it became really busy which again impacted on the service

Pizza and vegan and vegetarian cooking
Good place, very peculiar ingredients of high quality, careful choice of the flours. The owner goes along the tables in order to give suggestions and telling the history of its choices. Price in the standard. You should reserve in advance as space is limited.
