A friend of mine found this place using Tripadviser when we were looking for a place to have lunch. We had a fantastic feed at very reasonable prices and were the only non-Italian lunch diners which I think is a good indication of the quality! I had the Chateaubriand which was excellent. The Limoncello afterwards was also gratefully received!

The Restaurant Pizzeria "Lo Zodiaco" is found in the historical center of Oulx (TO) in the Valley of Susa to 80 kilometers from Turin. The pleasant and warm atmosphere of the Restaurant Pizzeria "Lo Zodiaco" hands the clients in an environment away from f
Unpretentious delicious pizzas, fresh bread, excellent escalope and----fantastic grilled vegetables- not a few slices of veg but whole courgette, half onion, tomato, potato, fennel etc properly grilled. Highly recommended! Italian on next table ordered brochetta and local small cheese starter- also looked fabulous. Only wished we had found it earlier so we could go for another meal there- sadly, we are out of time!! Lovely friendly service!!

We've just returned from Sauze and dined at the La Griglia on the 30th and 31st. We stumbled across this place on our first night - not knowing that it is one of the few remaining restaurants with a clay oven. Had we known this, we would have gone for a pizza but we didn't and I'm afraid we made the wrong choice. My partner had a steak meal and I had Gnocchi which were just OK . . . not amazing as the reviews suggested. As we'd not forward planned and booked anywhere for New Years Eve, we decided to try our luck here. It was a set menu of 6 courses for 60 Euros. Our table was booked for 8:30pm and we were still waiting on the Main Course at 11:30pm - as a result, we had to leave in order to celebrate New Year in the square. Of the courses we ate, they were mostly "beige" and although they were OKish taste wise, they didn't look at all appetizing on a plate. I suspect that this place specializes in Pizzas and if you do visit, I would recommend that you still to these options. However, we must say that the service, welcome and staff were excellent.

Italy is best known for its local specialities, so on our first visit to this part of Italy, we were keen to try some. We could not have asked for a better guide than the hostess of this restaurant...no need to struggle with my basic grasp of Italian as she spoke perfect English, being Canadian in origin. The place was very atmospheric and hummed with activity, but the service was still excellent and attentive. The wine list was amazing, as you might expect since this is an "enoteca con cucina" but included some very reasonably priced wines, starting from c. 11 Euros. We pitched only a little higher than this and enjoyed the wine very much. The food was great too, very unusual and different to what we had had before but flavourful and well-balanced. I would go there again without hesitation if we are in the area again.

We stayed at Jouvenceaux at Chalet La Petitta and walked to Sugo's since we got the recommendation to go there. You have to make a reservation, a lot of guests. The pasta was really good, we vere 11 guests and we took 4 different dishes. Quatre fromages was the best!

Ristorante pizzeria a conduzione familiare, in tipica baita di montagna, al centro del borgo storico di Jouvenceaux , davanti alla bellissima chiesa di Sant Antoni
We really enjoyed our visit. Cosy, friendly atmosphere. We visited on a Sat night and the place was full of Italian families. We shared a starter, then had a pizza each. The pizzas were great & huge -we couldn't finish them ! The waitress spoke excellent English and offered to give us the leftovers home but since we were leaving the next day we didn't take them.

I tried this place at the recommendation of a local which usually generates positive experiences. Not this time. If it were only for the lack of imagination of the chef or the tasteless food at a decent price I would have accepted it as a part of the exploratory journey. The place: The first impression when we entered the place was of a charming place but it was soon destroyed by an atrocious smoke coming from the fireplace which went on and on for the entire evening. The place seems to have two employees, the chef and a waiter and he could not find a way to manage the fireplace, the easiest way would have been to just give up on it. At the end we could not stand it any longer and took the 'dolci' away. The food: their strong point is good quality fresh sea food and fish. BUT they have a hard time cooking them, octopus was chewy the fish was salty and rather flat. Gran crudo (raw fish and sea food) and soup were very good. Risotto with truffles not at all impressive, I believe the quality of the truffles was rather low. Vegetarian plates absolutely boring, boiled veggies and some greenery. Sweets were again nothing special. Out of 12 people in our group only two had something which they really liked and we tried almost the entire menu. Staff: it was confusing at the beginning on who is charge of what ... they tried to do their best but they seemed helpless to me. In their defence, they were very friendly To summarise: An experience which came along with many negative points at almost 900 eur for ten adults and two kids who left the place coated in smoke that couldn't be taken out of the clothes for days ...

Cosy, traditional stone building with a fire, intimate surroundings, crisp linen tablecloths, friendly, attentive service, excellent wine and food. Access is by ringing the doorbell but donât let that put you off - we walked in without a reservation mid week and it was 2/3 full - perfect. Sea bass and duck both excellent, rounded off with zabaione for dessert.

It seems like a cosy and nice place to eat with the family. But when we asked the waitress for pizzas she shook her head in disbelief. They didn't have any pizzas!! When I asked why they call themselves pizzeria she just left our table. Unbelievable, rude. The food we than ordered was of medium quality. No thank you, never again.
