Always a friendly greeting from the owners Daniel and Violette. Daniel speaks some English which is helpful. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with a good ambiance. The food choices are good with at least two set price menus to choose from and some different dishes to choose from.Slightly set back in the 2000 Centre its a good place to eat. They are also dog friendly which is important to us.

A new restaurant we passed in the morning and had breakfast then with the excellent quality we decided to book for the evening...The food Royal dorade was amazing Lauren helped me bone it being my first full size fish She was so helpful and accommodating couldnât do enough for us. The owner I think his name was Christophe was also so helpful.I would visit again when we return to Grau-du-Roi

Strange marriage of high class cuisine in a small run down type café atmosphere. 19/20 for presentation of food. 16/20 for taste, choice and mix of flavours (lots of cream in the cooking). 18/20 for service. 5/20 for atmosphere. We visited the restaurant for lunch in November 2016. No special lunch menu. Quality/price wasnât good because of this. Over 90 Euros for a light meal with very little wine for 3 people. No credit cards accepted but this is highlighted on the menu board. Maybe they take them now?? The restaurant accepted a French bank cheque as payment. A second visit â canât decide ???

This restaurant has a stunning location on the beach and it was very pleasant to sit there and soak up the wonderful sea views. However the food was just acceptable, and the service was very slow. I ordered a dish with king prawns which were tasteless. When the manageress/ owner asked me why I had left them and I gave her my answer she scolded me for not appreciating the fact they were wild prawns. Very strange customer service, but whatever.

We visited as 4 friends on a Friday evening. The restaurant is under new ownership and offers a good variety of dishes. We all opted for fish and my sole was expertly boned by the lovely server. Everything we ordered was tasty and beautifully presented. We shall be back!

Nice little restaurant away from the main hassle and bustle. Used mainly by French.Because it is a short distance away from the main drag it is a little cheaper.Nicely decorated and very clean.Menu is limited, but that did not matter because the food was great! So much so that we went back there again. Each time we both had meals from the cheaper â¬14.50 menu.Portion sizes were just right, not small and fancy, and not wastefully large.

Enjoyed a glorious lunch here today !We had booked the day before as we were one vegetarian, it was good to know that there was no menu for the following day as it's built around what's caught that morning. Weather poor but no worries as the welcome, service and food lit up the day. We lunched with friends one of whom does not eat meat. Starters were delicious; fish soup sublime with all the traditional but often omitted garnishes. Clearly all home made with great attention to taste. Beautiful herb omelette with all the vegetables for our vegetarian. The other dinners had skate wings, clearly fresh that morning. Served with a range of vegetables and sauces, all the plates were emptied !House desserts were tasty and there was a range to meet most tastes. Excellent service, made to feel so welcome - so in my best French Il y a juste un mot pour le dejeuner aujourd'hui - formidableMerci beaucoup
