We had lunch here during the busy week in July, when Pori was filled with attendants of two big events (Pori Jazz Festival and Suomi areena, a discussion forum). It was past the lunch buffet hours, so we chose from the list, and luckily so.I have to say that the steak (200g file mignon) was among the best I've had in many years. Grilled to perfection in the charcoal grill, crisp on the surface and deliciously tender on the inside, with the juices of the meat still left. Wow.My companions had chicken in a skewer (also from the grill) and chicken bocadillo. The quality of the chicken was not as good as that of the beef, but the grilled skewer did taste excellent as well.Service was pretty slow, but understandable, considering that the place was pretty packed and the kitchen seemed busy. There's a beef rack in the restaurant where you can choose your own piece of meat, should you so desire. This is a must for me in future visits to Pori.

Me and my family visited Amado for dinner and we were quite satisfied. However the staff was weird and most of the waiters and waitresses were rude, I do not know why. We had already sat down and ordered drinks when they told us they were out of burgers (3 of us would have ordered them), this obviously should have been told beforehand! Eventually we all found something from the menu and placed our orders and headed to the salad buffet which seemed to be a joke. Dry lettuce, dry bread and bitter sauce. The only good thing on the buffet were the delicious olives. Finally we got out food and gladly almost everything was tasty! My dish, barcelona pork, wasn't anything special or anything I couldn't make at home. It was overcooked and soaking in the not so delicious sauce. At least the potatoes were great! From our group the steaks and the fish got the best reviews.
If you are visiting the restaurant for the first time, it can be a little difficult to find. It is located in a courtyard and there is very little signs outside guiding you to the right direction. But if you are fortunate enough to locate it, I promise you won't be disappointed! They seriously have the best lunch buffet in town. The salad table alone is enough to satisfy your hunger but they also serve a soup and a couple of different warm courses. There is always coffee and tea but I'm not sure do they serve a dessert every day. Usually I'm so stuffed after the salads and mains that I can't even look at the dessert. The most important thing about their lunch is that every single item tastes good. The problem with most restaurants is that everything tastes the same, they have the same seasonings. With Miittinki they have different flavours in all dishes. The restaurant is not very big and they only serve lunch. They also do catering. The price of the whole buffet is about 9,50 but you can option to take just the soup and salad for little less. If you fall in love with their food and plan to come again it is a good idea to buy 10 lunch coupons for 85 euros, so you will only pay 8,50 â¬/visit.
