Al Cavaliere Perso tries to keep The elegance of a local tradition for friuli and adds always a touch of freshness and innovation in the cusine: this is our daily challenge !
Ridiculous portions, bad service, cheap house wine, waitress badly miss a shower, even bread was not available after first basket, though only 10 guests at the place. The area is the home of super famous "San Daniele" ham, they don't have, instead the served us some smoked ham as in Prague .

My husband and I visited here a few weeks ago and WOW! Pordenone can be quite a difficult place to find great food AND great service but this hit well above the mark on both. Attentive serving staff who couldnât do enough (and could speak multiple languages!) Unlike other restaurants Iâve been to in Pordenone it has more of a contemporary atmosphere that I think is less touristic and more a place where the locals would go for dinner or an âaperitivoâ. We will absolutely be back! Thanks a lot Hannah...we strive to offer something different and a more contemporary atmosphere in a lovely Town like Pordenone. We also really care for our non italian speakers and guests from around the world. Your kind words really makes us proud and happy. We have new "cicchetti" for the aperitivo and hope you'll come back soon to try them. Thanks so much!

I have been coming here for a few years now and it is great every time. I prefer the lunch menu as I think it varies more and there's more choice. The dinner menu tends to be a bit monotonous (though good), the wine selection is prime. It's a little gem in the heart of Pordenone.

we hadn't been here in a while; it's a little on the pricy side. However, this was a spectacular dinner! Simple ingredients such as spinach as a side dish....sooo good. Lamb chops that I ordered were probably the best I had ever eaten. My husband had beef filet with green pepper sauce and he was going "mmmhhhh". All accompanied by great wines, the Prosecco with our starters (antipasto), a Cabernet Franc from the Bellia winery in Pramaggiore and a super Raboso.Good dinner, good company in a nice environment. We will come back!

I have a home on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where seafood is fresh and abounds...but there is no seafood restaurant there, or in most places I've traveled to, that have great atmosphere, good service, unique and artistic presentation, and absolutely delicious food as Ristorante Al Gallo does! Chef Andrea Spina is a talented chef and his passion for cooking translates in the food his restaurant serves. A friend who was with me and who is a worldwide traveler with a home in Sardegna, said her Fish Soup was the absolute best she's ever eaten! I'm in Pordenone for 6 weeks and have eaten there with my guests on weekly basis...highly recommend this outstanding restaurant! Bravissimo Andrea and his staff!

Lively little Italian trattoria just off the iconic Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Pordenone. Came here with a tour group of 28 to have a fixed menu, which is not always the best way to judge a restaurant. But this one passed with flying colours. Particularly liked the pasta starter which had tasty spinach ravioli and a lasagne better than any I have tasted elsewhere. The dessert was a huge portion of the traditional Tiramisu, which was remarkably light. Good local wine to wash it all down. The service is good, friendly and efficient; the ambience is excellent. Great place for a meal.

This "Osteria" was a lovely surprise, we gathered here for dinner with some guests from abroad, and anybody felt comfortable. This place is good for just a glass of wine, a tasty snack (after 17.30), a shared platter of cold cuts and cheese, up to a full dinner from starter to dessert. Caution, you have to be hungry to cope with the generous portions. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal, just ask for the printed english menu, or ask the waiter (here the "Oste" or "Ostessa") for advice (she speaks english).I've had very good cold cuts ("Lardo" was awesome!) and exceptionally tender tripe "alla parmigiana", with a handful of grated cheese on top. Simple, traditional, tasty seafood is served as well: bacalà /stockfish prepared in three different ways, pichards/sarde "in saor" among the others. Fresh polenta is always served.Prices are honest and service is included.Thank you so much for this first english review. Hope it will help other people to taste our dishes!!!Nice to read "Ostessa". it 's a rarely used word, but sound lovely!Hope to see you again!

This is my second visit to Osteria Borgo Ronche and I was not disappointed! The dishes are delicate, refined and absolutely delicious. Enrico speaks enough English to help people like me that speak minimal Italian! The price is very reasonable and the wine recommendations are always perfect! I HIGHLY recommend!
