I have been coming here in the last 20 years. I love their food. My favorite are the pastas ( try the cacio pepe e pancetta) and pizzas. You should start with an antipasto of focaccia e prosciutto, then take a biancaneve, a double calzone filled with your favorite ingredients!

Last visited Poggio Murteto twelve years ago...itâs really become a vibrant place! Adding to this new (to us) excitement is this small but excellent restaurant which opened in November 2017. We started with an appetizer of cured meats and cheese...delicious, especially with the still-warm bread! We tried the pumpkin ravioli and the tagliatelle with porcini...both were outstanding. A quattro of good local wine completed the meal. We had to push on to get our flight home, but we were very happy we reconnected with this lovely little town and its latest culinary addition.

This is a great little restaurant located under the best butcher in the area (where they feature organic poultry!). We had a great lunch; pasta with tomato basil sauce, rabbit with porcini mushrooms, duck and artichokes. Portions are large. As semi-vegetarians our requests to omit beef, prosciutto, etc from a dish are happily complied with. They have a large selection of local and regional wine. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Very good food in a charming restaurant set in the cellars of a castle. Beautiful views of the Sabina Hillside, with the possibility to eat outside or inside. Well worth a visit.

A quaint restaurant specializes in seafood and offers quality and courtesy since 1998.
We were influenced by the reviews. Not one of the 5 of us would agree with them. The interior is brightly lit. There is a big television on. The place was pretty quiet apart from the tv.There is no menu, how interesting we thought. But that means you cannot see the price. We were charged â¬7.50 for a basket of bread which we had a couple of pieces from. The bill was much larger than any other restaurant we tried. All of them had at least as good food, or better. The reason for the absent menu may lie in that. One of our number didn't have a main course, which made the high price more surprising Wine was expensive, from a tap. Bottled beer likewise (but in fact also available at â¬1.10 in the supermarket near by). May be an unfair point to make but it was a point of comparison given the anonymous nature of the wine. The food in fairness was good although not excellent. One of the vegetable dishes was mediocre. Portions were not large, and in one or two cases small. And this final point: the 20% off for online booking is illusory. The restaurant rejected the booking via the fork after it had been confirmed, we discovered. It certainly could not have been because they were busy.We have hesitated about this review: the food was good, but on reflection, people like ourselves who were making a choice between the various local restaurants feel that others should have available our experience in making their decision before choosing this restaurant.Grazie mille per la recensione, il problema non è stato il mangiare ma bensì il prezzo, tra l'altro onestissimo.

A very pleasant local restaurant and definitely good enough to warrant a trip from a neighbouring village. It can get busy though, so consider booking. Good value, friendly staff and i reccommend it. By the way the fragole tiramisu may be pushing the definition of tiramisu - no coffee or alcohol seemed to be involved - but it was delicious.

I had the best time here with my family and recommend it to all for a 5 star experience! From the beautiful villa, to our exquisite meal and attentive service; everything was perfect. Chef Alessandro cooked us an impeccable lunch and we left very satisfied. The view at La Belle Evoque is absolutely breathtaking, which adds to the whole experience. This vacation destination is a must for a getaway!

I have been a fan of EcoFattorie Sabine for years. It is one of the best places to buy excellent Sabine cheeses (if the ricotta al forno is available, buy a slice) organic meats, fresh and cured sausages, various types of artisanal breads, wines, compotes, honeys and jams, not to mention some excellent organic Sabine olive oil. Opening a restaurant was a stroke of genius. I visited the new restaurant about a month after it opened. From the epic cheese and charcuterie taglieri (woodwn platters) to the pasta primi and succulent meat courses that followed EcoFattorie Sabine did our beloved rustic Sabine region proud. The menu is a brilliant advertisement for each and every of EcoFattorie Sabine's products. Be careful! If you ever eat there you will be hooked... not only by the restaurant, but by the store's products. My favourites are their ricotta, the ricotta al forno (wood fire oven-backed ricotta) their wide range of local Sabine pecorino cheese, and their salumi. Ecofattorie Sabine is rustic and homey gastronomic delight. I can't wait to go back.Thank you! We look forward to seeing you again!

Visited Peter Pan 3 times whilst on holiday in Poggio Mirteto. There's every pizza you can think of - around 200 in total, even dessert pizzas ! Lovely pasta dishes, too. Everything very tasty and in a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Very reasonably priced and nice wines. A couple of shots along with the owner when the bill is paid, too !
