We were travelling in Germany and were looking for a place to eat close to the motorway. Restaurant Olympia is accessable very quickly. The staff was very friendly and food was excellend for a very good price.I only can recommend it to you.

I was at Amalie with a business associate for supper. It was a wild guess, unprepared. The location is ideal. The square has an underground parking. We both ordered the NY steak, which was perfectly cooked to our order. Nice sides are included. The menu is also including a selection of French dishes, after all the restaurant is cataloged as "French" restaurant. Nica wine list and pro waitresses taking care of the guests

A lovely Italian restaurant situated about 5-6 minutes walk from the main square. Decent menu, friendly service and a reasonable wine list. We have starters and mains and both were good quality. Prices were about on par with other similar restaurants we looked at during our visit. After a long trip MamaMia hit the spot!Thankyou

If you like pizza Laurin should be your go to place if you are in Deggendorf. Honestly don't understand why this restaurant hasn't got higher ratings. The pizzas are HUGE, not expensive and are very tasty. So good that it actually transported us to Italy for a bit. What I liked was that when you can't finish your pizza (almost no one can) you can take the leftovers with you so nothing goes to waste. We took the leftover pizza with us to Hungary, warmed it up in the oven and it was still very good! The beers we ordered to go with our pizza's were great too. Waiters were very nice and spoke good English. We sat outside on their lovely terrace which has nice views of the park and the Danube. If we were ever to visit Deggendorf again we would make sure to return.

I was looking for a traditional German biergarten experience, and came across this lovely little place. A twist on the traditional biergarten with good, reasonably prices Greek cuisine made Kouros a great experience. The outdoor seating area is lovely, and the staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend eating here!

The trattoria is a delightful little find in a quiet corner of Bavaria, only minutes from Deggendorf. The reception was warm and personable, and I felt like I was well attended to even though the house was busy (as it usually is!). The food is excellent, with nearly all of it made on site (except for some of the pasta), and is served fresh and with a very well balanced taste - not too salty, nor too bland, not dry or wet - in the words of Goldilocks âjuuuust rightâ! The terrace is perfect for an evening meal, as the street front quiets down and the sun sets, casting a warm light on the rustic tables.
