Das Bistrot ist zugleich Verkaufsraum, davor befindet sich auch noch ein Laden mit frischem Gemüse, Brot und italienischen Spezialitäten.Die Küche im Bistrot ist das Reich von Jörg Schmitz, der auch sein Kochbuch "Alpenküche, von Nizza bis Wien" anbietet. Dieser Koch ist anscheinend auf Sternejagd, denn was er so auf der Tageskarte anbietet ist groÃe Klasse! Wir hatten heute 1x Rigatoni und 1 x Salat mit Roastbeef. Was soll ich sagen- selten, dass man in Lokalen auf derartige kulinarische Genüsse stösst! Ein wirkliches Geschmackserlebnis von recht hohem Niveau! Auch der kredenzte Tischwein war Spitze!Man sieht, dass Herr Schmitz, und auch seine Tochter, mit fast pedantischer Genauigkeit arbeiten. Die Frischetheke bietet allerlei Spezialitäten von Jakobsmuscheln (4,90 die 100 Gramm) über Loup de Mer bis zu 30 ausgewählte Käsesorten und unzählige Salamis, eingekochte Essen im Glas oder auch Pralinen.Das Preisniveau geht, es ist nicht wirklich überzogen, wenn man die einzigartige Qualität mit einbezieht. Ich würde sagen, etwas unter dem Viktualienmarktniveau, die Küche allerdings ist qualitativ schwer zu schlagen ...Service extrem aufmerksam, etwas zugig im Bistro, wenig Parkplätze und die hübsche Bedienung hat leider vergessen, das Glas Wein beim Namen zu nennen!Wir kommen auf alle Fälle sehr gerne wieder und genieÃen die Kreationen des Chefs! Chapeau Señor Schmitz!

Food, and good service. The veal was perfect, and all the pasta dishes are spot on. The 4 cheese pizza is done in a perfect Italian (and very possibly a New York) style. Drinks are on the small side but the wine selection is pretty good. After eating Herman food for a few days this is a great change. A++ food/ service/ // but the ambiance was a little lacking. It was becoming warm and the staff opened the windows for a breeze...no screen and we were attacked by literally dozens of flies..Im glad we were just about finished otherwise it would have been a big problem..Food was awesome...

first time there - driving almost 45 mins - didnât expect that it is a rather small spot and hadnât done a reservation we have been very warmly welcome and weâve got some space free for usswift service - nice and clean spot - well designed and delicious food canât wait to go there next and enjoy the many variations of Meze!

Visited over a short trip to Bad Tolz. Excellent and friendly service. Extensive menu with many good options, with pizza and pasta with the biggest amount of options. We ordered salmon carpaccio and a soup to start and risotto porcini and calamari alla griglia, and they were tasty. Nice white house wine. Would recommend if you're looking for Bavarian food alternatives.

I go regularly to this restaurant with customers. The family leading the restaurant is from the Calabrian region in Italy, at least the mother. She is proud of the calabrese pizza which is her specialty. The family is very friendly. The inside decoration is fine. Please ask for special knifes if you eat a pizza. Last time they did not come automatically. Sometimes the restaurant is full. Booking in advance recommended.

My Girlfriend and I visited this place because of the comments, we love Italian food and we go to Italy many weekends specially in Spring and summer. We also cook it ourselves and love its culture in general, not normally write ratings in tripadvisor but in this case we had to as hope that the restaurant reacts.The place is nice, service ok even if not fast, price kind of high, we payed 70 Eur 2 people without desserts and just a 12 Eur 0,5l wine bottle, its true thouth that both pizzas and pastas were available for 10 Eur but chose a couple of 15Eur dishes.The problem was the food! There was nothing that convinced us...antipasti which instead of some salamis, it was some very greasy combination of tapas? Tomato soup which was too sweet, 2 pasta dishes (15 Eur) which were boring and with no salt/flavor or even correct boiling time as per the texture..We could not eat the pasta and the antipasti made us feel sick the rest of the evening, we will not come back.Dear Mr. C, we are very pleased to receive your feedback because the feedback of our guests is very important to us. We are very sorry that you didnât enjoy your visit at our restaurant. Please know that we always try our very best to make sure that our guests have a pleasant stay and enjoy our food. Thatâs why we appreciate direct feedback as it gives us the chance to exchange dishes in case somebody doesnât enjoy our South Italian specialities. Ich war zum Abendessen da.Das Essen ist sehr gut. Die Wirtin ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.War schon länger nicht mehr hier. Das Lokal ist ansprechend renoviert.Es gibt auch einen Biergarten.Nach dem Essen gibt es einen Ouzo, was heute auch nicht mehr so üblich ist!Genügend Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

For me the best Italian restaurant in this area ( Bad Toelz/ Tegernsee ) Reasonable prices for the dishes offered. My recommendation take dishes from the daily menu. The quality and quantity is absolute top. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is very stylish and cosy
