Lunch on a very hot day, but the temperature at Karaki was pleasant. This is a genuinely traditional place, frequented by locals. The owner and waitress welcomed us and showed us the food of the day.We ordered one moussaka, one rice with mussels, one cuttlefish cooked with spinach. Then bread, 1 still water, 1 soda water and a Nescafé. At the end of the meal they offered us some water melon. Here you find very good traditional Greek food in a nice atmosphere.Excellent value for moneyWe spent ⬠32,50

Called in here for a lunchtime meal, concocted our own meze from the menu, fava, courgette fritters(easier to write than the Greek name),cucumber and tomato salad and a prawn saganaki. Exquisite food and best of all a proper Greek craft beer as opposed to the more common lager. The beer is called âhoppy sealâ it is well worth a try

Outdoor seating only under a magnificent grape vine, in the courtyard of a stone built traditional island house, with stunning sea-views.
Just superb, completely superb. Food a huge cut above any other restaurant in the Old Village. Wine gorgeously smooth. Views fantastic. Lovely terraces and vine covered dining areas. For me though, it was the amazing service from Mariana, Melpo and Andreas (and the other two whose names I didnât get- sorry) discrete, very professional and with friendliness and warmth. Thank you.Dear Andrew,Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review and take photos, and we are so happy you enjoyed your time at our restaurant. We hope to welcome you back so you can enjoy more of our wine, food and atmosphere. Best wishes, Marianna, Melpo& Andreas

Welcome! Demi's Restaurant is situated just off to the right as you arrive in the old village on the island of Alonnisos, Sporades, Magnesia, Greece. There is inside and outside seating. We serve a variety of Greek and Cosmopolitan cuisine cooked by our c
We had boarded the bus to old town & the skies were a little overcast. âDo we need an umbrella?âI asked my husband- âNoâ was his bold response! By the time we got off the bus 10 minutes later it was raining steadily. By the time we abandoned all hope of it brightening up we were both wet through. We entered Demiâs to a lovely warm welcome. âDid I need a towel to dry off?â After a chat about the weather- we are British after all we ordered from the breakfast menu served until 14:00. My husband had a Greek omelet & I had a Greek breakfast. Both were beautifully present & equally delicious to eat. The chief came to ask me what I thought of the Greek breakfast & explained its origins as a cheap & nutritious start to the day. The old town is beautiful - even in the rain & when we get the chance to return - hopefully in better weather we will head straight for Demiâs!We were so pleased to meet you the other day and are so glad you enjoyed your time with us. Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a positive review. We look forward to meeting you again.

Mediterranean and Greek cuisine open all day. Coffee and drinks along the waterfront of Patitiri. Fine wine with platters of aged cheeses to nibble. Beer with platters of assorted sausages. Excellent Greek and international breakfast. Select steaks and on
Weâve been to Alonissos quite a few times. We were last here 4 years ago and this place didnât exist. What a find! We were welcomed by very friendly staff. The menu had a great choice of fresh fish. Having had seafood the night before, hubby and I chose something from the meat range. We started with homemade tzatziki and toasted garlic bread. We chose chicken cooked in cheese and red peppers and pork stuffed with plums in a very rich sauce. This was accompanied by a beetroot and potato mash. We told the waiter that we were going to swap our dishes half way. He suggested that he put them in the middle of the table and we were given plates to share. Both were absolutely delicious. We had this with half a carafe of chilled white wine served in âproperâ wine glasses. Highly recommended. Weâll definitely be back!

Amazing view A multi-room hospitality and a warm atmosphere. Amazing food with a wide variety of meats and modern Greek cuisine. Sweet sweets and reasonable prices for such big portions
So we ordered a pizza and a spicy pasta plate. Pasta tasted good but tiny in size for its price. Pizza was not worthy of mentioning...in terms of taste and they forgot one ingredient . When you make a reservation you have 1,5 hour available time on the table but they did not informed about us on the time of the reservation. Did not bring us a receipt until we asked to be by credit card and at that time they issued the nomarl receipt. There are much better options on this islandThank you for visiting Favela. So you ordered a pizza and a spicy pasta plate only.1,5 hours is enough time to enjoy. We kindly inform you and our future guests who have been booked a table and they are going to be delay, to call us on the phone nr ±306942626360. It will be helpful for both sides, because we'll be able to inform them about the time left. Here in FAVELA we pay attention to all customers reviews and we are very proud reading that we have reached their expectations. As answer to your review there for we suggest to read our all other customers reviews.ie"Great little restaurant""We were so happy to find that this little restaurant had opened in one of our favourite locations on the island, overlooking the picturesque port of Patitiri. Beautifully decorated and run by the wonderful Billy, the food was excellent and his staff couldnât do enough to make our experience a memorable one. Delicious, thin crust pizza, risottos, pastas and salads as well as great red and rosè wine. Highly recommended"
