Wir waren zu Viert in der Gusto Bar und haben die Penne Bolognese, Al Arrabiata, die Tagliatelle und die Pestosauce getestet. Die Pasta waren al dente gekocht und die verschiedenen Saucen haben sehr lecker geschmeckt. Besonders die Bolognese hat uns mit dem Geschmackt und der Würze überzeugt. Auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, lustig und zuvorkommend. Preis/Leistung stimmt total und ich gehe auf jedenfall mal wieder eine Portion Pasta essen. Auch das Ambiente war gemütlich, rustikal und einladend warm.

Ausgezeichnete italienische Küche. Die Paccheri con salsiccia sind hervorragend.Das Ambiente ist, als wäre man irgendwo in Italien und nicht in Aarburg.Da wir das Glück haben, 5 Minuten entfernt zu wohnen, werden wir das Calarcoâs häufiger besuchen.

Close to Olten the small town Niedergösgen is home to Schmiedstube - an excellent restaurant that I wish I had discovered earlier. Two large dining rooms boast a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Congrats to the staff for the very friendly and attentive service. As starter I had the honey-glazed goat cheese served with plums and salad. Delicious and generous portion. As main course the house prouds itself on its Cordon Bleu - available in (almost) unlimited combinations! I had the garlic Cordon-Bleu, filled with ham, local Gruyère cheese...and garlic! Excellent and generous portion, crispy without being greasy. As dessert the anise panna cotta with apple sorbet was good and refreshing.Regular prices are at standard Swiss level. However, as I visited on a Thursday evening, I could benefit from an unbeatable special offer: the three-course-menu (to chose from the regular menu) costs only CHF49.
