My family and I accidentally stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant when visiting Nocera Inferiore and we ended up with one of the most outstanding culinary experiences of our lives. Everything from the incredible, humorous and friendly service to the many different neapolitan dishes was above excellent. We really cannot recommend this place enough! Seriously the wine, the coffee, the steaks, the fish, the tiramisu and the other desserts - you need to visit and taste it for yourself!

Our driver found this restaurant for us on Christmas Day. He's personal friends with the owner. Tramonti is a village in the mountains of the Amalfi coast - it's not normally one of the villages visited when you are doing an Amalfi coast tour. This small restaurant offers gourmet dining in what is otherwise a small village. Our Christmas meal was spectacular - it's difficult to remember when we had a better meal or more friendly service. If you are in the area, I strongly recommend eating here. I know it's out of the way, but when we return to Sorrento, it's on our list of places to go back. It's best if you visit as part of a longer Amalfi coast tour as this restaurant is not too near any of the major towns that are part of the tour.

From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. We were the only couple in the restaurant because we were early. Early being 730 because here in Italy a lot of restaurants open at 8pm. As soon as we were seated on came the silent air con. They also knew we spoke English and then put on some beautiful soft jazz in English. It was the attention to detail plus the free tasting of the most incredible zucchini tart that made us know we found a winner. Then the lovely smiling waitress that attended to us. Not intrusive and describing the menu which was in Italian as best she could in English. Now the food. Mamma Mia..........absolutely exquisite!!! We could not fault anything. Extraordinary service! Really good food with meat as a speciality. We had a vegetarian in our company but that was no problem - a very good pasta was served. We are from the UK and enjoyed a fabulous meal with our Italian relatives at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional. A real treat and we will definitely return when next in Italy. Would definitely recommend a visit if not already done so.

Before lunch, we were given a tour of the Cantina's vineyard and wine production, which increased our appreciation of their wines which we sampled with our meal. It is a beautiful setting on the Bay of Naples and the lunch was locally sourced and delicious. It was a wonderful afternoon following our visit to Herculaneum.

My first experience of a Napoleon pizza and iâll never forget it. Bellissimo.Authentic and locally sourced ingredients to make the perfect dishes. Staff were fantastic. A young guy served us and was very enthusiastic about sharing his local food knowledge with us, recommend plenty of different types of food and told us where theyâre from, not sure on his name but deserves brilliant feedback.Being British I canât get my head around the prices of Italian restaurants.
