This is a deservedly popular Italian restaurant tucked into the battlements of Naarden's historic city wall. Large open kitchen where you can see the chefs hard at work. Young attentive staff who have been well trained to work as a team. They have just the right balance between being polite but never intrusive. Good acoustics, so even it is full, dining is still pleasant and you're not bothered by neighbouring tables. They have an a la carte menu that changes weekly as well as a 3/4 course fixed priced menu. I recommend the pizza's, the wild boar, the tiramisu, the shrimp, and homemade prune ice-cream. Good value portions. This place deserves to go from strength to strength.

A must go in town, friendly couple, exquisite food Italian and French style, in a nice atmosphere. Wine offer at the same level. On Thursday the burrata arrives fresh from Italy, do not miss it! I shall return!

A small cosy deli where you can eat in or take out. Our love for Italy is big but not borderbound. Homemade meals, sandwiches and salads accompanied with good coffee and Our Great smile. We are open from 10:00 weekly till 18:00u for take-out, but we serve

Our visit at Passionata was a disappointment. We ordered a panini for our guests and we asked to warm it up. Not a problem according to the staff, but when they brought it it was cold and hard as stone. When we complaind about that, she answered that it is always cold served. So by ordering everything is possible, by delivery nothing. We asked for butter on our bread, the answer was 'hold on a moment, I will bring it', ten minutes later, I asked again and then the answer was 'we don't serve butter'. So unfortunately disappointment and an unfriendly staff. Never again!!

Although a fully flexed restaurant (mainly pasta and salads) what they offer is very good. Real italian and at a very acceptable price.Staff is very friendly and efficient.

I was invited to eat here, by friends and i was amazed! They drove me all the way there just to taste these "mezedes". Wonderful host/chef Stefanos prepared for us a delightful surprise with different small plates of a variety of tastes finnished a few carafs of great white wine and was driven back.. Atmosphere, surroundings are great as well. Parked right in front! If i had owned a car would go back the following week!!! Congratulations Stefanos and Saskja!
