We visited during a stay in the area.Had booked in advance after consulting Trip Advisor for ideas for restaurants. We love Turkish/Greek food, so this place jumped out at us & Iâm so glad it did. We have been to Meze Meze in Rose street before & love it, so thought we would try here. The food was amazing. We chose the mixed meze for 2 & our 13 year old son had a separate kids meal but tried some of ours too. Everything was so tasty, fresh & flavoursome & plentiful. We washed it down with Efes. Food & service was excellent, decor was stunning with all the Turkish lamps, loved it. We will definitely return next time we are back in the area. Highly recommend you visit. Thank you so much for visiting Kezban and we greatly appreciate your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the food served here and that you found it all to be fresh and flavoursome. Thank you for your kind comments regarding our staff and for appreciating our unique decor. We hope you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again very soon!

Looked at TripAdvisor for ideas and found this restaurant and Iâm so glad I did. This is a small, intimate restaurant with no fancy decor so might put people off but it shouldnât. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I canât recommend this place highly enough.

Expect to encounter a multi-sensory experience; visual, textual, taste. Simplistic and natural interiors, complementing the effortless and fresh cuisine that follows the roots of culinary principles in Italy: excellent quality ingredients, honest cooking
Great restaurant, hard to find, well there we were surprised by a lovely Prosecco, three amuse bouches, starters like grouse or ravioli with truffles (generous) followed by mains, venison with hazelnut or guineafowl. Interesting but short winelist. Dessert was a divine nutella accompamied by an icecold expressomartini. All in all was this a great experience and in my humble opinion they deserve one star in The Michelin Guide. When the bill came I was surprised, prepared to pay at least 100£ more than I had to!

Verdo Turkish restaurant - Voted best Turkish Kebab restaurant in Edinburgh 2018 - BBQ dishes inspired by the traditional food of Turkey.
Visited here for a friend's birthday. Great food and service, the waiters were attentive and accommodating. My only slight issue was the price - considering the establishment is a little out of the city centre, it did seem a bit overpriced. However, I'd still visit again, but only for a special occasion.

We randomly chose this restaurant after walking by it from our B&B into town and what a delightful experience! Service was excellent, prices were reasonable and our meals were excellent. Nice atmosphere inside as well. I especially enjoyed the pear and ricotta ravioli. Highly recommended.

Selected Souq after a search for Morrocan restaurants in Edinburgh on TripAdvisor. Is on South Clerk Street which is becoming home to a lot of interesting eating places.Booked a meal for Saturday evening with friends. Friendly welcome and received good advice from our waitress about the dishes on the menu, and in particular what was a good selection of Mezze for four people as a starter.Food was all really fresh and really tasty. A good selection of starters then we all have a different tagine dish. I had the chicken barkouk tagine with prunes and honey. Delicious!!I finished the meal with saffron and cardamom ice cream and an arabic coffee.Really relaxed atmosphere to the restaurant and our party of 4 really enjoyed the food we had. We all felt it was excellent value for money. The restaurant serves a selection of non-alcoholic drinks and is a BYOB.

I've had many good experiences with the Caprice before but this evening was really disappointing....the order turned up much earlier than expected which was odd, only to find that we were given the wrong order. We did promptly get a phone call to apologise which was good. 45 minutes the rest of our order turned up, the pizza compared to previous orders/visits was very dried out like it had been sitting either in the restaurant or in a delivery car/van. However, the thing I found really worrying was that the driver asked for the other pizzas back, they had been sitting getting cold for 45 mins!! Really made me feel uncomfortable that those pizzas might actually be delivered to someone else and no offer of compensation or anything additional for the inconvenience. It's a shame because it would put me off ordering again, certainly for home delivery!

Perfectly located on Musselburgh High Street, Dal Patino is the perfect authentic Italian dining experience day or night in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
Weâve been here a few times and always enjoyed the job, ambience and the fact that it is a pleasant, small family run Italian.I had a few issues with my last visit with my main, a Cod dish being rather poor, under seasoned and not the freshest but put this down to a hiccup. My wife and I went down last Friday and I was disappointed by my flavourless, under seasoned aubergine and mozzarella starter. We never usually order pizza hear but fancied a change and quickly regret that decision. We ordered a burrata and Nduja flavoured pizza each but when it came out it was lukewarm, bordering on cold. Come on this is 2019 hot plates, hot food, happy customer! The pizza was very bare and also extremely salty (and I like salt!). After eating less then a half we gave up and I told the waiter that the pizza was cold and salty, his reply was to shrug his shoulders and say âNduja is saltyâ. Both he and the chef/owner seemed entirely unfazed by the fact that they had just served inedible food to their customers. Only a poor quality Nduja is salty as extra salt is adding during the curing process to speed it up and increase yield, perhaps moving to a better product (and please taste first) and just increase your price a little to account for this. No brainier! We paid our bill and promptly left never to return which is a shame. As we left I watched another 4 plates leave the kitchen and go to a table without a hint of steam rising from the top, enjoy!
