Daphne's, one of Barbados' top restaurants, reflects the vibrance and style of its famous sister establishment, Daphne's of London. The menu, based on classic Italian favourites, boasts the inspired epicurean signature of Milan-born Chef Michele Blasi in
We have eaten here several times, most recently in September 2019. The food and service are good and we enjoyed our pasta dishes. It is not in the top band of Barbados restaurants but very good if you are staying nearby and it is nice to have a slightly ower key dinner sometimes. We were very happy with the food and service.Good day davidh20182018Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. La Bodega offers tasty homemade Street Food. Youâll experience dishes representing South America, North America, United Kingdom and of course the West Indies. Enjoy fine wines and a cosy relaxed atmosphere.
Visited here at 7pm on a Friday night, first customers to arrive, staff and ambience reminded me of Fawlty Towers. Total mess, no staff on the ball, ordered tapas and it arrived about 30 mins later. Then we waited and waited and waited for the main course. Someone in the kitchen popped out to get some chicken while 2 groups who arrived after us got their food. Complained to the staff who didnât have clue. We were offered a free drink and declined and walked out as did 2 other groups at 8.30 and still hungry, We were told they were short of staff, not sure exactly that workshop and

LâAcajou is nestled in an ancient mahogany grove overlooking the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea. The signature restaurant of Sandy Lane, LâAcajou is beautiful and elegant. Its prime location on the picturesque West Coast of Barbados, combined with exce
L'Acajou is the high end restaurant at the Sandy Lane resort and after a fair amount of thought the overall dining experience is certainly the best on Barbados from our recent experience. Very professional and friendly service and the food can not be faulted. Incredible wine list for deep pocketed customers and the food can not be faulted although the meal was very expensive. There is a nice view over the beach which is somewhat spoilt by the open umbrellas just below and the odours wafting up from The Bajan Blue barbecue facility which is close by. Definitely worth a visit so start saving and then enjoy.!! Spoke at length with the chef Patrizia who is Spanish and who obviously cares and is more than 100% committed to the food served to his customers , sourcing top quality produce and it clearly shows.

A Charismatic Cafe Bar in the centre of Chattel Village Hoeltown. Open for Breakfast , Lunch 6 days a week and Authentic Spanish Tapas on Tuesday and Thursday, in winter and Thursday's in summer with live music . Great ambience , food and wine. We have ag
Another recommendation, we visited on a Tuesday night when they have live music on, a couple of well practiced girls singing along initially to some cheesy older tunes and then bringing it more up to date for their second session and getting people up dancing. The food - tapas Tuesday - was pretty decent to be fair, good quality ingredients, not always authentically Spanish maybe but all very tasty nonetheless. A special mention for the pork tenderloin kebabs but Iâm afraid the fries were very average. We had an issue where they couldnât get my credit card to authorise which held us up for about half an hour at the end. I felt that there was concern that it was my fault or my card that was the problem as it was apparently knocked back and I didnât quite have enough cash. They somehow managed to eventually get it to accept and gave us a free drink for our trouble which was the right thing to do in the circumstances.Would we recommend, absolutely yes - you eat outside and the space looks good with lots of fairy lights and fauna, all the staff were friendly and quick to top up both tap water and refresh our drinks.Hello thank you for your Review and your great comments about the service etc , I will pass onto the team and look forward to seeing you again .As we said on Tuesday evening The issue was not the restaurant or your card , but a problem between flow the provider and the bank . After both myself and staff had a very frustrating evening I called for the numerous time that evening to be told they had a fix. I was then taken through a process on the machine that enabled us to have full communication to be returned . This issue was not just related to ourselves but much of the business on island . Thankfully all has been good since . Enjoy the rest of your holiday

Had another lovely evening not dented by the heavy rainfall which fell at times whatsoever. The staff were on top of it.Nice reception and greeting.Great food, although perhaps a little sauce with the shrimp and avocado starter may be welcome.Good, laid back and courteous staff. And, as always a fabulous setting.Keep it up and maintain those high standards.
