Food was freshly prepared and tasty. Nice menu - typical Greek fare. We shared a veggie meze platter with a couple of meat sides. Portions are generous. The outside seating with a view of the hills makes it feel less like mall restaurant. Well looked after by Mark. I recommend this venue.

Amazing food, never disappoints. Haven't had Ocean Basket since my last trip to SA. I had the Kingclip and it was to die for!

On a Sunday Drive we literally stumbled across this awesome little diner! Wonderful relaxed atmosphere with fantastic music and televisions for those wanting to watch sport. We sat in the beer garden (joined by the 2 resident Huskies) and had some reasonably priced drinks and a delicious lunch. I can recommend the shawarmas and giant burgers! The decor is fantastic and the service is efficient, we will definitely be back.

Some of my favorite things about the Clearwater Ocean Basket are the soccer area upstairs, TV monitor so that I can supervise my kids, and the bathroom on site. The combination of a kid-friendly area with great, healthy food options makes this restaurant a winner!Hey there Mehmoui, Thanks for the review. We appreciate your feedback. We look forward to having you visit us again soon. The OB Team

I am amazed to see a restaurant that has been around as long as this one only has 1 review! Astounded in fact.We have been here a few times and have either had an okay or a great time. What I particularly like is their food's often distinctive Mediterranean look & feel. Last night I tried their Spanish Anchovies, Salmon soup and tomato/feta/cucumber/olive oil salad. Really enjoyed those Anchovies smothered in olive oil with lemon juice squeezed over them. Reminded me of a tapas meal. This is the ONLY restaurant / franchise anywhere in SA that I have been to, that does not serve that infernal, ubiquitous, vegetable, lettuce in their salad. In SA I have always found that unscrupulous restauranteurs use lettuce strategically to bulk up, or prop up limp, under-portioned meals. It is also the only place where you get a decent sized chunk of feta not measly crumbs.I came across this non-use of lettuce and big chunks of feta in salad in Greece and just love it. Good for you Ocean Basket! that no lettuce big cheese policy alone will guarantee my return to you!My wife wasn't impressed with her meal and has decided to revert to basic fish and chips next time.Service was generally fine but for some reason it does take forever to get a drink in this place. Not bad we cod do batter! ;)We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are happy to hear you love our seafood so much!We look forward to having you back again at Ocean Basket Featherbrooke Village, soon. Many Thanks,Team Ocean Basket
