We came for dinner and was not dissapointed! Small family run restaurant with a few tables outside Close to the big Church in a small piazza. We started to share a portion of mussles and it might have been the best mussles I ever had and I had a few I promise! For main my wife had todays local fish cooked in the oven with sliced potatoes and she was very happy, I had a half lobster with homemade pasta excellent! A bottle of water with some bread was on the table and also 1/2 liter of house White wine, very good one!We did share a pannacotta with strawberries also very good. I had as usual a Grappa with my coffee and this time it was a 36 month old Grappa aged 18 months in Portwine barrels, very good. Meal came to resonable 74,50 and what I could see they did not charge me for the Grappa or the coffee, many thanks again for an excellent dinner!Answers Daniele, owner of âgli amici della piazzettaâ restaurant:Dear JankannHH, thank you very much for your precious feedback and for the time you dedicated in it. Iâm very happy to had you and your wife eating in our restaurant and I hope to see you next year ( Iâll make you try another excellent grappa!! and sure other local catch fishes too ).... well!! Enjoy your time in florence now... and see you soon!!! Thank you!! Bye

Nice beach with excellent facilities. The water is clean because of rocky bottom. Food at restaurant is really good, with some new menu items everyday.

Monile Restaurant is the first and only restaurant in Moneglia located directly on the beach in the country. New opening run by young kids but eager to receive the customer in the best way for him to discover the flavors of Liguria and revisited in an inn
Wonderful restaurant by the sea. Excellent atmosphere, good service, high quality of everything that was on the table, from the starters to the dessert. Good choice of wines, good balance between quality and price. It deserves a trip

As soon as this place opens there is a line. It is that good. We were third in line but there was a table we could sit at outside. Alessandrs, was the maitre d' /owner and he couldn't have been nicer. He actually gave us a glass of wine because we had to wait so long. They have an incredible selection of pizza's and it is all stone fired. They also have a selection of things besides pizza. It is small and cozy and arelly good time do not miss this place

We walked down from our accommodation, Cielo e mare, one of the few close to the restaurant, to a 5 course seafood meal with aperitif and grappa for â¬38 each and were encouraged into enjoying a good â¬20 bottle of regional wine, a light, drinkable rosso. Smoked Salmon to start then a mackerel course, crab, a lobster main with risotto and finally crepe suzette, none outstanding but all tasty and filling. They were able to adapt all dishes to a gluten free diet and the host was knowledgable and accommodating. The view is stunning and we were treated to a free lightning show that thankfully passed by the time we walked the 5 minutes back up to our accommodation.

Simple kitchen sea. The terrace of the
After checking Tripadvisor recommendations we selected this lovely restaurant as our first dining place in Moneglia. And it was really worth of it! We didn`t had table reservation so we had to wait for a while and we ordered drinks for waiting time. When waiting we looked around what local customers where eating and everything looked so tasty. After some minutes we got our table nearly over the sea. We ordered the only menu on the list and it was a lovely experience to local seafood âworldâ. Everything was so tasty with excellent local wine (included to menu price for two persons, 38 euro/per). The meal was big enough even for a bigman. Even we spoke only a little Italian language the service was like for local. Highly recommended seafood restaurant!

Great Ligurian food and wine. Very friendly owner and great service. Would happily go back again. No a la carte, menu changes daily and you choose from 3-5 starters, entrees etc. Ask for suggestions and the owner will gladly tell the stories behind the ingredients and dishes.

We know restaurante Derna for many, many years. Guido, son of Martha and Franco, who run the place so long, takes a new road. He gave the restaurant a fresh look, and completely renewed the menu. This means that guests now have less choise, but the meals that the four of us had, were really, really good! Wine was good too, as the famous vanilla ice that is made by the owner.Just one tip: please lower the coperto. This is too high in our opinion, seen the prices for the dishes...

Ristorante di charme, con proposte mediterranee e liguri di qualità e carta di vini locali, naturali e champagne.
Came here two nights the week we were in Moneglia. The service was personal, friendly and warm. The food was perfectly executed and very reasonably priced. Around us were mostly locals. This restaurant is a special night out. The owner is personable and clearly enjoys overseeing the dining room. Loved it!

La Taverna Friendly Restaurant, great service, friendly staff, high quality cuisine, where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish and seafood.
We tried this restaurant after a recommendation from our hotel. Based on other places we ate, this was just average. They appeared to be understaffed and there was only one waiter responsible for the entire inside portion. It took over 10 minutes to get someone to notice us and put in a drink order. Then at least another 5 to 10 minutes to get our drinks (just a draft beer and a spritz). We ordered 4 oysters which I donât recommend. They were very small and my husband and I both felt queasy later in the evening after eating. We both had the spaghetti with seafood in aluminum packet. It was ok but limited amounts of seafood compared to other places we ate. In summary, there are better places to eat in the area.
