We stopped here on the way back from Lussan. We had lunch in the garden under lovely shady trees. The garden was excellent and adjacent to fields of sunflowers. We chose the Cochin , the Meagre fish and the steak fillet. My piglet was lovely, beautifully cooked and presented. The others enjoyed the fish and my husband described his fillet as one of the best. The staff were both friendly and extremely correct. The rosé was cold and crisp- perfect accompaniment !On such a lovely warm day it was hard to leave.

Loclal dishes you never heard of, prepared and presented with love and dedication. Ideal for the big hunger. Very family friendly. Ideal also for vegetarians, as many dishes naturally are based on eggplants and goat cheese.

Just spent a week in goudarges, went one night for set 3 course dinner, very good value at 23 euros per person and not much more for the house wine. To make it easier the menu was also in English but the translations do not do the food justice. Great service.

Gastronomical semi restaurant. Made kitchen and desserts house containing fresh produce.
I've eaten in this restaurant a few times. The staff are helpful and friendly, they also speak English for those non-French speaking holiday makers. The food is exquisite and interesting for the area which is saturated with restaurants serving traditional local food. If you want French food with a slightly interesting twist then is the place, I once had a Fois Gras creme brulee as a starter, it was delightful! I think it's slightly more expensive than some restaurants, but if you're looking to treat yourself then go ahead. The back court yard is a beautiful sun trap in spring and summer. I can't wait for it to open again in Feb.
