This little restaurant was just a few hundred yards from where we were staying and came highly recommended by our hostess and she was spot on.We called in to book earlier in the day which was interesting as the lady there spoke as much English as I speak Italian so I made the booking in French but it all went smoothly and when we turned up at eight we were quickly seated and treated to a glass of Prosecco. The service throughout was excellent and so was the food. The four of us shared antipasti to start and then I tucked into rabbit fillet stuffed with truffles which was so tasty. The beef stewed in Chianti was also very good as was the fillet of beef with truffles and a lovely bottle of red went very nicely with it.There was Moscato with the desserts which were again very good and an enjoyable grappa to round things off. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with barrelled ceilings and the atmosphere was relaxed and warm - all the others there appeared to be Italian which seems to be borne out by the other reviews. It was also good value, about £100/125 euros for the four of us.

We arrived late in the evening by ferry from Corsica and the owner of Tenuta Poggio Alla Farnia, where we stayed for the night, recommended this place to eat. It was almost 9 p.m. when we arrived to the center of the village and, having looked around the main square, we almost lost hope at having a decent dinner. The restaurant is tucked away at the small passage down the stairs and it is easy to miss it in the dark. We were lucky not to have done so...The restaurant quite unexpectedly turned out to be a nice surprise. The outside terrace was fantastic, the place in general is homely and tidy, the service was very friendly and prompt, the menu was sufficient and to every taste. The food was delicious! All in all, we had a memorable experience and a lovely dinner.

We had a very nice dinner in Lari. I Burattinai served very good food by kind English speaking personnel. The card was in three languages. Pasta came from next door, Martinelli. The steak with gorgonzola was tasty. The location on top of the wall was top!I recommend this place to all families visiting this awesome area!

We came here due to the good rating on Tripadvisor and were really happy. We had no reservation so the owner apologized we only could get a table inside. Which was completely fine as we were really close to the gigantic pizza oven and the grill. So we could observe the chef putting large chunks of meat on the fire. Great! As for the food, three of us had pizza and only me had the meat, which was great. With the pizza I immediately noted how good the mozzarella tasted. My son now says it's the best pizza he has ever tasted. Don't be fooled by the look from outside. The place looks like a cheap bar, but it's like with a book, don't judge it by its cover. Really recommended.

We ate dinner here tonight and we had a wonderful evening. The staff were friendly with excellent English and the food was delicious. We sat outside in a gorgeous courtyard on a balmy night. Just magic. I had the steak with balsamic, Parmesan and pine nuts and it was perfectly cooked with soooo much flavour. Hubby had the sliced bistecca with truffles which was generous and delicious. The sides of roast potatoes and mixed salad were yummy too. Highly recommend this little gem.

We ate here twice during a 4 night stay near Sante Luce. The main advantage of this place is that it opens earlier than most Italian restaurants so great for families with young children. The staff were friendly and the kids were pleased that they served chips. I think they were getting tired of pizza and pasta after 10 days in Italy! The ravioli was delicious and pizza was good, too.

The historical authenticity of the Busti Family and the experience of the Chef Leonardo Biasci join together in the shared love for good plain things. A restaurant that is really new, not only because it has been recently opened, but also because it origi
We spent a nice evening here with our family. The cheese and meat antipasti was very delicate presented and tasted great. The pasta and the bread were delicious. The kids had proper pizza made in the brick oven. Wine tips from the waiter were also very good. A little strange that this restaurant - which filled up with people over the evening- showed music videos from the 80's on a big screen. But don't let that stop you from going. High quality food- nice staff and very family friendly Thank you for your comment. Iâm sorry for the tv program, usually we show the Remo Busty documentary (the founder of Caseificio Busti) or a video of the dairy during the production.Thank you,

Si richiede perché è stato modificato il nome, da trattoria cafè dei vecchi sapori a trattoria dei vecchi, inoltre dovrei comunicare la chiusura per ferie dal 5 novembre al 26 novembre
We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in the area of Lorenzan. The food is freshly cooked, quite different from many others we have seen, since it specializes in sienese and Pisan cooking. The service is most heart warming and especially friendly, the prices are moderate. There is an outside terrace or inside rooms which are furnished nicely and comfortable.Inside is an air condition.

Consiglio vivamente.
