Wine was O.K but food, although a little expensive at 29⬠per person was sound. The great reviews of this place seem somewhat misplaced. Service was also a little slow.

An absolute nono. Went there with friends. Still apologizing!Absolutely anything that came unto the table was defrosted yesterday's yuck. I don't quite grab the philosophy behind serving customers overmicrowaved cardboard and expecting to get paid for it. Which we did. Which was wrong. Moreover the boss thinks it's appropriate to encroach on your privacy and go lyrical and snoreworthy over this muck. Give me a break and some fresh water. Anyone?

We ate three consecutive evenings in family and then in couple at la Palombe, where we staid as a hotel. I have to say we were very positively surprised by the inventively of the chef and his aides. 'Mise en bouche' was refreshing with melon or prosciutto, mint or bien herbs macerated in alcohol. Meat was a fest, also fish and vegetarian dishes. Service exquisite with rich moments of charm and warm comments. Terrace with flower is inspiring and makes you believe you are at the end of your life, a peak: paradise, at last?

We have been to this restaurant each year, since it opened and went twice this year, whilst camping nearby. Each year it gets better. The choice, presentation, food quality and service were excellent. The gazpacho with tomato and basil ice cream was a wonderful starter during the hot summer weather and the rest of the meal was equally as good. We look forward to next year.

Visited for lunch. Enjoyed a Kefta Libanais and Falafel in Saj. Both were freshly (also fresh ingredients) prepared and were very delicious. Not the usual fast food joint.

nice unpretentious restaurant, used by the locals, with good food. The value for money on the fixed menus is quite exceptional.Views over the river if you eat outside.Affordable wine.What more could you want !

We came upon this place by accident and decided to have a drink and Ice ream and apple pie! Great food and an absolutely lovely lady who served us. So friendly and she had a lovely smile.

We had not booked and were welcomed warmly, as the family ran through the menu, I decided just ask what the host would recommend, I was not disappointed. Although I will admit to some jealousy at my wife's lamb dish. If you are in Lodeve and would like some authentic African cooking, then you must try this restaurant.
