We had lunch in the shaded garden. We ordered about 8 or so tapas. All were delicious, anchovies, small fish, potatoes, croquettas, cheese etc.All were cooked beautifully, the owner checked that we were happy - he was confident about the quality of the food. The staff were excellent. It was a lovely cafe.

Really liked this restaurant which is shaped like a cellar. Service was mature and professional and food excellent. Had prawns wrapped in sole and my wife the beef rolls. House wine very cheap , excellent desserts with a free drink of Ratafia at the end .An excellent dining experience repeated on our second visit when I ordered a sirloin steak from specials menu to find that it was a fillet steak and one of the best I have ever eaten!

We had a lovely evening here, we were with 8 persons and a nice round table was ready for us. We asked for several formulas for the menu, none of them was a problem also for the kids they made an adjustment. Very friendly staff. I had the mushrooms cream and the monkfish Paella both were very tastefull and rich on taste! If you are in the neighborhood, don't hesitate and make a reservation!

We have been visiting this place for over 7 years, each year we get a warm welcome and great friendly service. The wines are great and food is of a high quality. A great ambience, drinking wine, relaxing, enjoying good conversation with views of the sea, perfect!Josep and all his staff are great, they make you feel really welcome which is why we return. Highly recommend this place for a visit though some patience may be necessary during busy times!

We waited half an hour to be seated but it is normal at this of the year as it is a touristic area. Better book in advance. We ordered Fideuá with clams & cuttlefish, mussels in curry sauce with thyme, sirloin steak and some typical desserts.Everything was delicious and very well presented. We noticed that the fideuá only had 3 clams and informed our waiter about it. Harrison dealt with the issue marvelously well informing the cook and very generously appeared with a dish full of garlic seasoned clams (house specialty entree), furthermore he invited us to a glass of cava (Catalan champagne) making our stay a full unforgettable delight. Will return without any doubtThank you Harrison

Was recommended this place by friends who regularly come to the area and have dined at Korpilombolo for many years and have come to know the owners Annette and Pau. What a fantastic place, small but perfectly formed, it has a cosy and friendly atmosphere without feeling at all cramped. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you enter. It is a type of Swedish/Spanish hybrid of small plates, which is great to share and experience many different dishes. Annette will advise on how many if you are unsure. Words cannot explain the food, every dish was beautifully presented, and an explosion of delicious different flavours. Every mouthful was a delight and a chance to taste things you may not have tried before. I even got my husband to try sweetbreads! Make sure you book as this place is so popular you wouldn't want to miss this incredible dining experience.

Home made Tapas Bar on seafront, chill out, cocktails and lounge music. Modern style terrasse with panoramic view from the Roses Golf to the Escala beach.
We first saw El Patio walking back from the old town on the front and thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food and service from start to finish was flawless. Lovely, friendly service and the food was oh wow beautiful! We normally have 6/7 tapas dishes between two. The sangria is amazing, definitely worth a glass or two! It is by far bistro standard. Keep it up El Patio, we will return.

We booked on-line for the â¬19 menu which due to an annual festival started with barbecued leeks with a wonderful dip! The meal seemed to go on forever, one delicious plate after another . We found out during the course of the meal that the bottle of winewas also included and it was excellent!
