Reviews on Mediterranean food in Krakow, Lesser Poland Province, Poland. Krakow is one of the most culturally and politically significant cities in Poland. It was the central site of the Nazi General Government during WWII, and there’s still a residual feeling of solemnity here that’s especially apparent during visits to the Plaszow Concentration Camp and the Oskar Schindler Factory. Both the Historic City Centre and the Jewish District are brimming with cafés, shops, and pubs, and the 10-acre Main Market Square is a medieval feast for the senses.

Had a meal here on our first evening in Krakow, overall our food was very good but the service was a bit slow - we think our waiter was probably drunk. We had to remind him of our order twice and our mixed salad was delivered late (this too had been forgotten)Overall the price is reasonable and quality good but the service mainly due to the one waiter not great. It will not happen again. The waiter isnât with us anymore and we are very sorry about that inconvenience.

Taste orginal Italian products and authenticate coctails and listen good music.
We ate here on our last day, as we wanted a decent but light meal before our flight home. We sat outside, and the waitress kindly took our food orders before the scheduled start of food service (as we were short of time before leaving for the airport) so that our meals would be first from the kitchen. Our pizzas were great, and with our drinks were just what the doctor ordered. The restaurant seating area is small outside, sharing a pavement space with two other outlets, but it has a big area inside as well. We enjoyed trying Polish fare during our stay in Krakow but this was a nice change and we would very happily eat here againDear Helpyouandhelpme,Thank you so much for such a lovely review. It is nice to know that you had a memorable experience here. If you are by Krakow again, we warmly invite you again to visit us.Best regards,Wiktoria BezganManager

We make hummus - a middle eastern dip, a peaceful link between Israeli and Arabic culture. You can also have here a glass of Chatou Topolcianky or eat other delicious vege and slow food.
Adorable little vegetarian/vegan only cafe. Had the best ever tomato and coriander soup, delicious and a small (although not so small) plate of hummus with fresh vegetables and pickles. Amazing. Lovely to find, it has just a small seating area so doesnât take bookings but you can also buy food to take away. Will return next time I visit Krakow.

I am so glad we went here instead of into the main square like we originally planned Truly the best meal we had in Krakow. The price was great, we had two meals and two desserts with drinks and coffee for about £27(130zl). The staff were great and very helpful.

Restaurant Bianca is an intimate little restaurant in a charming corner on the main square next to the St. Mary's Church. We offer a is what is the essence of Italian cooking - the simplicity and joy of the dishes at the same time, based on the best ingre
This is a Michelin one-star restaurant, and they have truly earned it! The food is very good, the service excellent, and the prices are not as steep as you might expect for a Michelin rated restaurant. Close by there is another one, but much more expensive and lacking the warmth and attention of Bianca. Splurge!Thank you for these kind words and appreciation. We just want to explain that we don't have a Micheline star and we have alignment in their guide.

A bit towards the expensive side, this nice place is named after Leonardo da Vinci and is amply decorated with Vinci's drawings. The food - even the Polish dumplings - is mostly French-Italian mix, but excellent quality. The wildboar was really good. Good selection of wines, and reasonable service. Nice over all.

As soon as the restaurant - Lounge Bar "Aqua e Vino" opened in June 2005, it quickly positioned itself at the forefront of Polands restaurant scene. Modern decor, impeccable service, close attention to details and exclusively Italian cuisine made from hig
Nice italian restaurant, just a few minutes from the main square. It is underground, like a cellar but not bad at all. We had pasta with mushrooms, pasta with salmon and grilled goat cheese. They were amazing, all of them. Nice glass of wine too. But the waitress was a bit indifferent. Never asked us if we want a secong glass of wine, a coffee or a dessert. Meanwhile she was busy asking these exact questions to the table next to us. Anyway we also ordered dessert(tiramisu) which wasn't worth it at all. We had two bottles of still water, tap water, the bottle wasn't sealed and payed 50PLN for those 2 (12 euro!!!). So, except from the waiter and the expensive water this restaurant was a nice touch to our trip. I'd recommend it for its foodDear Xrysafro,we really appreciate that you found the time for leaving your opinion even if we apologise if the service was far from expectations. We try every day to offer the best experience to all of our guests but sometimes it happens that we donât do it. Difficult to find the reasons, just believe us that there are no differences or discrimination doing our service. We apologise of course, hoping youâll understand that it was just a âbadâday of someone of us. Let me say otherwise that you confused the price of the water: our bottles cost 12 zloty per liter, no 12 euro, and we donât use tap water but a very special machine, and very expensive, that filters the water before to be served. Thanks again, hoping youâll have the opportunity to give us another chance to offer a better service.Best regards Roberto

Outstanding fine dining restaurant in Kraków with food & wine pairing menu. Albertina Restaurant & Wine is an exceptional spot on the culinary map of Krakow. Located in the very heart of the city, the restaurant lures with unparalleled interior character,
This is a fine dining restaurant with attention to details and flavor combinations. The pastry chef was spectacular. The breads and desert were divine. The steaks were really delicious although my momâs steak was not cooked to her liking. The chef served small dishes between courses. This restaurant is expensive for Krakow. Most of the patrons were business travelers. If you like fine dining in a contemplate environment this spot is for you. If you are looking for a casual experience t

Myself and my parents went for dinner here this evening after reading the excellent reviews it on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed! For a start the waiting staff were super friendly, welcoming, professional and attentive - what an absolute credit to the business. They were able to accommodate us without a reservation, (although I think we were lucky as we arrived early in the evening), and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. All three of us had three courses each - which is extremely rare for my parents. My dad couldn't stop raving about the duck he had for the main course, and both myself and my mum were delighted with our respective dishes of halibut and beef loin. We all had desserts, which were all completely devoured. Infact I don't think we left a single piece of food from any meal. Really cannot recommend this place enough. Beautiful interior, pretty upscale but not intimidatingly so (we all arrived in rain jackets, not particularly dressed up) and very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and the whole experience. Please do yourselves a favour and go!
