Itâs clean and the staff are very friendly. I canât wait to return, I Would definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Central location and very near our hotel (Jurys). Had a pleasant dinner here, we both had pasta and it was tasty and well cooked. What made the restaurant for us though was the staff. We had our five year old grandson with us and they were so kind.

There was no special occasion or reason for a visit other than wanting to have a good meal. That was exactly what I got, but this time I did challenge Allan to make that pudding he had promised - a thick chocolate ganache without alcohol. More of that in a second. So they apparently keep to the same menu to avoid disappointment to people who have heard that x or y is good and then find it is not on the menu anymore. Well they mentioned a couple of specials and one was the chilli squid dish I had last time - so that was an easy choice for me and it was a) absolutely gorgeous and b) I still don't like the Iranian inspired mayonnaise it comes with as a side accompaniment - at least I am consistent! My wife went for the prawns and melon which she was very pleased with (even more when we were given some to take away at the end of the meal).I had a hard time choosing a main, but after checking the beef lasagne didn't have pork, that is what I decided to have. Nice indeed with a great salad and dressing, but almost too much as I had the anticipation for the pudding and wanted to leave room. I had worried that having lasagne was a bit of a dull choice but the layering of the sheets and ingredients was perfectly level and flat and the pasta sheets had this ort of fluffiness to them that made it different to just being homemade. My wife went for the crab linguini which she raved about while eating, and then raved about all the way home. And so to pudding, where we were taken to the small kitchen and shown the chocolate pudding and given the choice of a red berry compote or sliced oranges. I went for the orange and by heaven, the chocolate was to die for - smooth, thick, and SO much chocolate. The orange cut through it and contrasted really nicely. It was no wonder I bought all the rest of the pudding - after all he had made it just for me (I will let my wife have some, but the rest is mine, all mine). So yet another winning evening of (literally) personal service from a talented chef without the trouble of having to go to London. This really is a place that astonishes the palate and is very recommended by me - just don't be booking when I want to go because it sometimes takes a bit of patience to actually get in.(It is a BYOB for those of you that drink alcohol)
This independent run restaurant, part of a small chain of others in Hertfordshire, serves both breakfast, lunch and dinner. I believe they serve an all day breakfasts which is extensive, well presented and beyond tasty!!This was our third visit in the space of 2 months so I guess itâs our regular now. The staff are helpful and attentive, happy to very their menu to suit the needs of the guest. The service is quick and menu options are extensive. The lunch menu looks tantalising with a variety of Mediterranean delicacies.Price: ££ beyond reasonable for breakfast - £7.50 to £8.50 a head for a huge plate of food, in some cases the tea and coffee is included. No need to book this restaurant - usually has tables to accommodate.

We are a Family run Mediterranean style Restaurant serving Pizza, Pasta, Grill, Coffee & Cakes. We are open from 12pm serving Brunch & Coffee.
We are from Watford and we were looking for somewhere different to eat so we headed here. We got a table for 17:30 for a family of 4, and had the restaurant to ourselves which was lovely. ESP when you are trying somewhere new with kids, you never know how they are going to be so itâs a relief when we are the only people. The service was amazing and very friendly, they interacted well with my daughter which we donât usually get when eating out. I can imagine that the place is buzzing of an evening and we will be back to enjoy it fully! But defo a place to return!!Food was lovely! I tried every dish at our table and every dish was different, some places you go, all the sauces are the same base so the food is samey but not here! Each of our 4 dishes where different in flavour.Perhaps up-sell some garlic bread as we forgot to order but would have with a prompt. Fantastic bite to eat! And we will be back!!!

My Husband and I decided to try this restaurant for a quick supper last week, bad choice on my behalf. My Husband is from the Middle East so we know what we are talking about. We ordered a mixed meze and were very disappointed from the begining, what should be hot was cold and what should be cold was hot. We then had lamb and chicken, it was cold on arrival and we notified the waiting staff who replaced it with the same plates just warmed up, but the lamb was still not cooked all the way through. The service was appalling and so was the food. I would never recommend this restaurant, they just donât have any customer service skills and the chef cannot cook!!!!Hi Imanthankyou for taking the time and effort to review our restaurant. I just want to check if you really posting to right place as we don't have on our menu a mix meze platter . Also the only cold starters we have are the dips and the salad and these can't be served hot.I am sure you are addressing your review to the wrong place.hope to see you soon in our place so you can try our dishes.thanks Nana's

Iâve dined here many times and will be going back next month with a large party of friends for my partners surprise 50th birthday. No matter what you choose from the menu, the food comes with generous portions and tastes great! Itâs hard to believe that the venue was formerly a McDonaldâs restaurant....but itâs a great venue and very clean! If you e not yet tried it, you should, because you wonât regret it!

A local Delicatessen & Wine Shop, with a great selection of British and Continental foods, and wines, Beer, Ales & Spirits from over 20 countries.
A delil/cafe/wine shop by day, we visited with friends for tapas evening. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our table very quickly. The waitress then explained how things work and got us water for the table. Loved the ordering system, so straightforward. There is a menu on the table with a list of dishes (starters and mains including vegetarian options) and she advised to tick a starter and 2-3 dishes per person. You then hand your menu to the food counter. For larger tables, they do this for you. Another waiter then took a drinks order and suggested some wine, which we tried first. The food arrived very quickly, decent portion sizes and was all delicious. We all ordered 3 dishes each and this was the right amount of food. For dessert there is a cheese board or you can select a piece of cake from the deli (lots of vegan options) together with coffee or tea. A very pleasant evening. The only problem we had is that our table consisted of two chairs and a church pew seat, which was really uncomfortable. The place was very busy so you would have to book a table in advance. Parking outside on the main road can be tricky. Try Langley Hill car park round the corner. Thanks very much for your very detailed review and feedback. We're really glad you enjoyed yourselves and have noted your comment about the pew... we're looking at an alternative.Hope to see you again soon. All the best, jeff
