Reviews on Mediterranean food in Killarney, Province of Munster, Ireland. Forget fashionable footwear, only your most comfortable shoes will cut it in Killarney. It's a walking town, and every trail is a history lesson. Journey on foot through Ireland's first national park, 26,000 acres of woodlands, sandstone mountains and low-lying lakes. When your feet wear out, take in Killarney National Park via boat from Ross Castle. And because there are more hotel beds in Killarney than in any other Irish town or city (besides Dublin), you'll always have a place to rest your head (and feet).

Intimate authentic casual Italian restaurant & wood fired pizzeria with both indoor & outdoor seating. Proudly serving classic, rustic Pizza Napoletana, traditional, delicious Italian dishes & creamy Italian Gelato!
Did takeout from Little Italy. My wife ordered a gluten free pizza and it was excellent. The crust was tasty and the sauce appeared to be homemade. I had a regular pizza and it to was excellent. The restaurant is a little difficult to find (in a plaza down an alley way) but it's well worth it.

Tucked away from the crowds, this is an absolute gem! Walking up the stairs, there are holes in the carpet. Up on the second floor, the floor is scratched BUT wow, the food was absolutely spot on! Friendly, courteous staff. I had the prawns in brandy cream sauce with asparagus. Full of flavor but not overpowering, each bite readies me for the next one. My wife had the gnocchi in carbonara, the look on her face told me all I needed to know but she slipped me a sample anyway. Her face was right...... Reasonable prices, comparable to others in the area. If we were in town longer we would go back there again!

Introducing Curious Cat Wine Bar, Killarney's newest, most chilled environment to enjoy a catch up with friends, an intimate date or a relaxing drink after work. Wine and Tapas served Wednesday-Sunday and live music on certain nights.
I had the good fortune to be invited to meet a friend here, otherwise, I never would have known about it. What a pleasant experience.? The tapas menu, the selection of rioja & the very personable Richard make this place a very special experience. My friend & I enjoyed a very pleasant evening & I will look forward to returning to try out other menu items & of course, some other great wines served in a very convivial atmosphere.
