This place has both great pizza and pasta. Their small lunch pizza is the perfect size (smaller than some of our "personal" size pizzas), it is just right. Alexis Sorbas is certainly not a typical greek restaurant that targets a mass audience by selling mediocre -meat mountains- of Gyros and bifteki with fries, they actually sell great food with a much higher standard as you would expect, also looking at the location, a residential neighbourhood.I can certainly recommend this restaurant and only 2 small facts made me give them 4 in stead of 5 points, the first : it was quite loud , hard to have a conversation during the meal but they did have a large group that evening, and the way they tried to sell their wine , pushing a blend and promoting it big time without giving me the opportunity to have a look in the wine menu (maybe they don't even have one)

Das Restaurant hat einen gemütlichen Innenraum und einen idyllischen AuÃenbereich. Das Essen (wir hatten Tapas und Pizza) ist gut, der Service freundlich. Irritierend ist lediglich die Parkplatzbeschilderung. Der Restaurant-Parkplatz scheint gar nicht existent. Dort ist lediglich ein kleiner Personal-Parkplatz. Um Drehmanöver zu vermeiden am Besten gleich auf den Hotelparkplatz fahren.

We had dinner here while on a layover at Frankfurt airport. The service was good. You seat yourself so we sat out on thee mall section. We both had a salad, and I had calamari while the bride had a pizza. We shared a half liter of wine. Bill was $42 Euro. Food was hot and tasty.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit einem super schnellen Service und einer angenehmen Antmosphäre. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!!!

In the past when staying at Frankfurt airport we've gone into the town, which has cost a fortune in taxi fares. Looking for somewhere nearer I discovered this seriously authentic Italian restaurant offering both a trattoria and an upscale menu, so everything from Pizza to serious dining.The service was very good, the food was absolutely excellent. I had pasta with rapini after a very good antipasto. We were sat in the main restaurant but requested the trattoria menu and there was no problem at all. If you have to spend a night at Frankfurt airport don't eat at the hotel, get in a taxi and try this place, and they'll order a cab to take you back. It was wonderful and I'll be back next year I hope.

This restaurant offers good Italian-style food, and it seems to be well known in the neighbourhood. When we arrived to have supper the place was very busy! Nevertheless, we received fast, good service, and the food was excellent. One of us ordered a mixed salad with chicken breast, and the helping was enormous- enough to share!We also share a pizza, which was very good. Prices are reasonable, and this restaurant can be recommended!
