Visiting after suggestion of friends.. very nice location and view of Kavala town before entering the centre approaching from Alexandroupolis side.. Dishes were prepared fast and were delicious and seemed fresh although we did not order anything special or big fish.. Mussels, octopus (part), kalamari, gavros and sardines.. for amount comparing with price was not cheap.. 4 people about â¬100 with beer and not any expensive wine.. according to what I have been told in Greece, the country of sea and fish, these are the prices in fish taverns.. if so I would recommend the place because of view freshness and service

We have ordered grilled sardines, but there were anchovies in the plate. We tried hard but could not convince the waiters that they were not sardines. As a fish loving family, we are sure they were anchovies. We have also ordered grilled sea bream, and it was in a non-garnished plate. Bread and water were not free, unlike most taverns in Kavala. If we talk about the price, it is also quite expensive. I didn't see a plus about Savvas, but downsides were plenty. It was a ruined family meal.

During our family vacation in Kavala we had dinner three times at Sousouro, and every time it was great. Such a friendly staff, we were warm welcomed there. Food is also amazing, we tried many dishes and all of them were well cooked, we loved their home wine as well. Only good memories, we hope to come back at out favorite place in town.

Fine seafood fresh fish. Flavours served overlooking the sea and disrupt your senses. In Balaoura together a group ... Cheers !!!
Large group (17) of us visited the restaurant and ordered a variety of food (mainly seafood). Considering the size of the group the service was very quick. The food was excellent with the dishes that stood out being the octopus, calamari, mussels, soutsoukakia and courgette. The rest of the food was also very good.Location wise this is excellent overlooking the small marina and is very quiet. There is also loads of street parking near the restaurant. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Tsalapetinos is not a typical restaurant. In the morning it is a coffee shop - bistro kind of a place. In the evening it is a bar (some days it hosts bands and offers live music). It's brunch menu is one of the best I've ever tasted. I suggest trying the omelet and the cheese and bacon pancakes. Getting a table (or simply a spot to stand!) is not always easy escecially during weekends. Try getting there early or make a reservation (although I am not sure whether the place actually mekes reservations...).

We, my daughter and me, served for a nice greece restaurant and.....we finally found it. We were sitting like many others at one of the small tables, had a great friendly waiter and we were offered really nice fish dishes and perfectly cooled drinks. We were very pleased and more than happy about that gorgeous place. Prices very reasonable. Thanks a lot. What a great pick!

This restaurant in the heart of the old town has an appropriate atmosphere and really deserves the good reviews. It specializes on local food - meat and salads (if you are fen of sea food better look for a fish restaurant). The grilled plate was tasty (though the small chop was a bit tough), the salads â good. The service was fast and friendly.

Alburo is a traditional sea food restaurant, where you can enjoy the tastiest Greek cuisine while taking in a stunning sea view. Situated close to and overlooking the beach, you can enjoy a sequence of appetizers and local drinks before your main course,
The most romantic and worth visiting sea side bar/restaurant in Northern Greece. Excellent food, tasteful drinks including house wine & Athos Monastery Raki/Ouzo. Excellent service and food - but the most astonishing is the view over Northern Aegean Sea and teh island of Thassos just opposite! Fantastic any time of day or night but to me teh most magic time is towards sunset and a couple of hours later.
