Reviews on Mediterranean food in Juan-les-Pins, Antibes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur. Monet painted Juan-les-Pins. So did Picasso. If they showed up today, they'd find a youthful summer destination that centers on sunbathing (invented by Coco Chanel, some claim), casinos, nightclubs, and staying out late. TripAdvisor members say the one thing "JLP" lacks is restaurants, but neighboring Antibes, a short bus ride away, has more than enough to compensate.

Considered giving this a 4 star review purely based on the location, but I think that would be unfair given we knew the location before we sat down. Fantastic quality food, and very reasonable price! I had whole lobster linguine for only â¬29!!! And champagne only â¬8 per glass. For the price and quality this is definitely 5 star. Friendly service too. Merci beaucoup!

First ImpressionsLocated inside the picturesque Hotel Belle Rives the La Passagere is a delightfull restaurant with great food and good service. The restaurant terraces overlooking the Cape dâAntibes with beautiful sea views and the food focus here is on sea foods. The Food & ServiceThe food here is delicious and worthy of itâs Micheline star. The Grey mullet and langoustines were delicious and the presentation was superb. Genre : Restaurant de cuisine traditionnelleEn bref : Charmant petit resto. Carte variee allant de la viande de race a une variete de plats vegetariens. Excellentes bieres belges, vins au verre et degustation de rhums agricoles martiniquais.
This is one of our local restaurants and we tend to reserve it for special occasions. Being Valentineâs night we decided to give their Valentineâs menu a try.We couldnât have been happier. The chef produces delicious food at the best of times, but the Valentine meal was particularly delicious. It started off with an amuse-bouche of quailâs egg with a truffle sauce, then a choice of three starters including foie gras, a tartare of scallops or mille-feuille of aubergines and cucumber flowers (Iâm simplifying a bit). The tartare and mille feuille were both excellent. As our main we both had the fillet of Black Angus beef in preference to the fish (always excellent there in any event). It was delicious. A small selection of cheeses and a nougat glacé with red fruits rounded off our meal. The other desserts looked delicious as well. With an apéro thrown in this was very good value for â¬49 a head. Service was smart but unhurried, efficient and friendly as usual, the place was full and buzzing, always a good sign. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Well done to the entire team! Weâll definitely be back!

Cuisine with flair and simplicity, terrasse overlooking the Parc Exflora and Juan Les Pins Bay.
The hotel du Nord was not serving lunch so the proprietor directed us here.Tasty lunch but quite expensive for what it was. The tartare du Sai on was delicious with a trio of fruits- water melon, peach and apricot with taboule. We would like to go back . The staff were good and it is family run. Mama in kitchen with sin and daughter front of house who both spoke excellent English. The son had spent 8 years in London training at the Conrad restaurants

My daughter and I spent a few days down on the French Riviera. Juan-Les-Pins and Antibes are my favorite towns. We stopped at Mamma Miaâs for lunch after spending a few hours on the beach. Although they were technically closed for the afternoon, they allowed us and other customers to enjoy a late lunch. I had a pizza while my daughter ordered pasta. That was some of the best Italian food weâve ever had. The pizza had a super thin Italian style crust. The pasta was full of flavor. Romaine, our waiter, was super friendly and attentive. Itâs right across the beach and on the main strip so you can people watch while youâre eating. I highly recommend it!!

Slightly expensive but worth the price given how delicious everything was. We had the pork and tuna, both were some of our favorite plates during our trip.
