TripAdvisor managers should consider the possibility to assign 6 stars sometimes...this dinner was simply perfect. The experience started with finding the location: a nicely local style 1930 country house with restaurant and 3 rooms in the middle of an eucaliptus Australian like area close to dry rivers to be crossed. Then you can see the animals used for the food: everything is home grown and coked from the flour to the meat to the wine etc. DON'T SHOW THE YOUNG PIGS TO CHILDREN'S AND THEN PRETEND THEY EAT IT. ..please.The service is delightful and the quantity is double then you can expect: be prepared to get your doggy pack. Cannonau wine top level. The 28 euro price is fix and includes an amazing appetiser, 2 first courses, 2second courses, salads and 2 desserts. Wine, water and spirits are included too. ENJOY!

Nice ambience, friendly attentive host. Very tasteful food. We had the mix of seafood and the beef with cannonau (reginal wine) sauce and pecorino cheese. As dessert the cheese board and a chocolate soufflé, which was extremely scrumptious.Very relaxed evening. I fully recommend going for a meal here.(Fyi they don't serve pizzas)

Il Piede di Porko is a lovely cozy place located in the centre of Bari Sardo. They serve tradiotional and innovative food of high quality. The location is divided in three different floors including the roof terrace with a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and professional. You should try it as soon as you can! I really reccomend it!

S'Ormina Ristorante presents contemporary Sardinian cuisine. Chef Antonio Serra here blends fresh ingredients and seasonal produce to enhance Sardiniaâs natural flavors. Most of the produce is purchased from the neighbouring meat and fish markets. The res
This is by far the best dinner weâve had for over a week in Sardinia. We found the restaurants in Sardinia overall always good and excellent value for money, but this restaurant stands out. The chef takes the typical sardinian ingredients and takes them to the next level. Everything we had was delicious and very reasonable priced. In fact, we found the prices very similar to the prices of other restaurants, but for a much higher quality of food. Excellent price/value. Moreover, the view from the terrace was beautiful and the wife of the chef who served us was incredibly friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.It is always so great to get that kind of feedback from our guests! Our main goal is everything what you have just wrote! Thank you! Best wishes to three of you!

Out of season visit. We're given a Italian /German menu, while being a English /Dutch couple. Had a nice pizza Romana, could have done with some garlic. Husband had mixed grill (meat) which was salted, when that could have done without and left to do oneself. Overall okay atmosphere. No chicken dishes what so ever though.

Went here following the trip advisor reviews. After a long drive up windy mountain roads were surprised to see such a huge restaurant. Had a nice dinner: pasta, pizza and some boar meat. And for desert a nice Tiramisu. We were surprised to have a German speaking host: apparently he worked in Germany nearly 40 years ago. He recommended half the dishes we had and all of his recommdations were a hit. On too of all the restaurant has a great view.Thank you for the kind words, glad you have satisfied your needs, we hope to meet again and we wish you happy holidays.

A friend recommended this place and we had fabulous dinner and lunch there. The seafood pizza is the best I've ever eaten and other dishes like pasta or fishes are delicious. The relationship quality & food is good!

We stopped for a quick bite for lunch, but the food was so delicious we ended up having a three-course meal. The food was excellent (we highly recommend the gnocchetti alla sarda, the local ravioli with butter and sage and the sebadas). The waiter was extremely friendly and welcoming, and he even offered us a glass of a delicious, very aromatic mirto.Definitely a place worth visiting if you are in the area!
Beer house, wine-bar, pub, steak-house: this sums up "Ferro&Fuoco", a new concept of restaurant in Ulassai. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy excellent aperitifs, delicious appetizers and a wide selection of local meats. Surrounded by our impressive
Calling at Ulassai to visit the cave and have a walk in the amazing setting. Needed lunch so called in here.Loved it, the village was really quiet but here there was a great atmosphere with enthusiastic staff. We shared the bruschetta and the local cold ham / sausage dishes. They were exceptional. Also big portions, we were anxious that maybe they had given us double portions (with a double bill), but not so. They were really generous. The menu looked super too, we were only after a quick lunch. We did notice the 1kg T bone steak â¬35. Crikey!!We gather it is a new venture and really wish them every success.

Arrived here at 3pm and waited for the tour to start at 4pm. Starved since the town of Ulassai was siesta-ing. Luckily they served sandwiches - ham and chesse / prucciutio / salami. Not much in it but the staff are friendly and willing to help. Buy your ticket to the Grotto (Cave) entry here. 10euros per person. If you don't have a jackt and enjoying the Sardinian weather in a flimsy top then the guy will lend you a jacket providing they haven't all gone.
