Things to do in Iznajar
This place closed for a while, and has now re-opened. The staff are very friendly, and the chef sure knows what he is doing. Because of this the previous reviews should be ignored. Some English is spoken here and its a pleasure to visit. Give it a go.

We have been in iznajar for a week and this is the best food and service we found. Yes it is like windle island in sunny St. Helens. Yes the view is a mix of petrol pumps and mountains. But if you like quirky, excellent food and excellent service (and cheap too!!) this is the place for you. Fab.

Went with friends and had chicken and chips, sounds boring but perfectly cooked half chicken- big portions here! Staff really friendly, been here many times for meals or just a coffee. Not much English spoken but when it comes to food and drink us Brits can be understood.Right on beach , plenty of parking and views spectacular.

I had a mixed salad and grilled fish. It was all edible but nothing spectacular. The restaurant had no atmosphere.

Bistro style fresh food in relaxed atmosphere. Using the best local ingredients our food is cooked to order, with an ever-changing menu to suit the season. Specials are often on offer. Sharing bowls and salads are always available. We cater for vegetarian
In the town centre this is a great find. A small but well thought out menu with quality food made from fresh ingredients. One of our party had fresh tuna and it was best I had tasted for decades!Other options that night were chicken with Bombay potatoes, and cheese quiche to die for. Well presented but not Nouvelle Cuisine, thank goodness!Charlotte and Nick are keen to make the experience special and take time with their customers.A mixed sweet of warm fig, warm peach, chocolate brownie, orange cake and ice cream was superb and perfect finale! No doubt this will be on my "must do" when in town. Many thanks for your kind review. We hope we can welcome you back to Cha Chaâs very soon! Best regards,Charlotte

Canât remember how many times we have eaten at El Charcon and I cannot think of one occasion where we have been disappointed! Antonio and the staff are friendly, courteous and look after you and everyone else wonderfully. Great wholesome food and enjoyable to eat.

Probably THE most unfriendliest place weâve been to in Iznajar. We visited for a drink and some tapas late one afternoon. The staff member was really surly and whilst the bar empty except for one person we were given the impression we were a nuisance for ordering a drink! We sat on the terrace, and decided to order some food from the menu, placed on the numbered tables. I went in and ordered one tapas dish, explained we were sat at table 3, although hard to miss us as we were the only patrons! We waited approximately 40 minutes at which point we went back to the bar to see if they had forgotten our food? No....it was sat on the bar going cold, waiting for us to collect! Terrible service with a disgusting attitude!

Located in a 19th century house where each corner has kept the charm of the time and where you can enjoy our tapas and dishes in the lovely terrace. You can also stay in our underground cave, where you can find "Las Tinajas" dug in the ground and that giv
This place has not been open for long, but it's a little treasure. The ambiance is terrific, the welcome so friendly and food and drinks are what we come to expect. Iznajar has some wonderful places to eat and drink, and this is one of them. Don't miss it.

Charming restaurant, bar with friendly helpful staff. The owner helped me choose the "perfect paella" which I pre-ordered to have ready later in the evening. The restaurant is clean and food delicious. I wanted to take the paella back to our apartment, and the owner prepared it in a way that I could take the entire meal, in the paella pan. It was piping hot, but I was able to carry it with no problem. I wasn't charged a deposit for the paella pan, and just asked to return it the next day. Everyone was lovely and the paella, with seafood and mushrooms, was delicious.
