Absolutely sublime - home cooked southern Italian food by a passionate family with the freshest seasonal ingredients. Home grown olives, the freshest sardines, incredible slow cooked rabbit, veal osso buck to die for and and a sharp and savoury radicchio and beetroot salad. A small independent but perfect wine list, and exemplary service. Nothing gimmicky or instagramable or hyper rich or complicated - just sensational food and flavours served with passion and love - 5 out of 5 !

Di Palma's Restaurant & Bar has been making #woodfiredpizza since 1988, so you could call us the original wood fired pizza restaurant.
Di Palmas restaurant seems to have been around for many years and still maintains a high standard of traditional Italian fare along with a great variety of excellent pizzas. We arrived at 6.30pm on a Sunday night and the place was buzzing. A number of different dining areas deliver a range of dining atmospheres all offering the sounds and aromas of a great Italian restaurant. The pasta is excellent and quite varied, and the pizzas are mouth-wateringly good.If we had one criticism, it was the extreme swiftness of the delivery of the dishes. We hardly had time to order and the meals were arriving.Prices are certainly reasonable for this quality. Will visit again.

Warm inviting atmosphere, friendly welcoming staff and absolutely delicious food. Generous portion sizes too. Personally will not visit on Friday or Saturday again night because the belly dancer struts her stuff and the music is loud. The place has a vibe of it’s own and doesn’t need her (my opinion of course). What a find in an area where there are only 3rd rate restaurants and fast food outlets.
Back to the Hub again this morning. Enjoyed my big breakfast very much, especially the Cypriot sausage the name of which momentarily escapes me. My coffee was lovely too. Service was warm and friendly. The Hub is recommended.Four months earlierThis cafe/bistro used to be known as Over the Road until a major renovation a number of months ago. The space has undergone substantial change and some lovely modifications have been made. It's more modern, orderly and coherent. The gifts that used to be dotted around the place are gone and it's more spacious now and warmer. Today we ordered the egg and bacon focaccia with chili jam. It was very nice and made for a hearty lunch. We finished it off with coffees and a scientifically halved salted caramel cookie. The cookie belongs with the foods served to the angels in heaven. I felt significant psychological pain finishing my half. My coffee was ok but not one I'd include in a hall of fame. It's a nice place and some of the other dishes looked fantastic.

What a great place to eat lovely Greek food. Service is impeccable. Menu is good.We got starter plates of feta, olives, grilled octopus and Cypriot sausage. This was complemented with house made bread stick. The octopus was tasty and char grilled, the sausage was amazing. We had the serve of Gyros lamb as a shared main. Again the lamb was tender with lots of crunchy bits. We shared a fresh salad with this.Place was packed.Good food, good service, quick service. Thanks

This friendly and family owned and operated restaurant care about their customers and deliver delicious food. They have a very clear understanding of catering for someone who’s Coeliac - first hand. They also understand fructose intolerance. The staff will help guide you though what’s possible if food intolerances are part of your life. The dishes are quite large as is quite normal with Italian restaurants, the flavours are lovely. Have eaten here a few times over the last 4 years, always delightful.Thank you fifiB07! We understand the frustration that those with dietary requirements face when eating out. We will always strive to make people with dietary requirements feel at ease when dining @ Vasko, instead of feeling alienated. Thank you again!
