So why would you want to eat Italian, when you're in France? Perhaps because, like us, you'd been eating French for a week or so and, while enjoying it immensely, were looking for something different. If that's the issue, this is the solution. Outstanding Italian food, with just a bit of Norman flair. I had pasta Rossini, good thick noodles with a rich sauce and slices of smoked duck -- absolutely delicious! Incidentally, the place seems very popular with the locals. I could see why.Buongiorno MKevinM!Thanks a lot for your feedback! Pasta Rossini was a very good choice :) you should also try our pizzas, you won't be disappointed! We hope to welcome you back soon!Alla prossima...

We wellcome you in our typical italian atmosphere, to treat you to our delicious italian specialities, famous pizza and wines list. English spoken.
Popular restaurant. Can be a bit overcrowded (one or two tables too many) and hot on a summers evening. However, the service was friendly and efficient and the food was very good. We had pasta dishes which were very tasty. The house red wine was very good and at â¬7 for 50cl a real bargain,

It is the second time that I came to this restaurant. We celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday today, which proved to be a very wise choice! We took the same dish as last time we've been here: Mezzé, the 10 dishes, including 5 cold dishes and 5 hot dishes with the special bread. I would say..there is no word that I can describe the happiness of tasting all of them! I can't count how many times my mother-in-law said "C'est très très bon!!" If there is a 6 stars in Trip Advisor, I will give it to them!I took Thé gourmand for dessert! It's the Mint Tea with 3 little desserts. The one with orange flower taste and milk, hmm..seems like you can smell the flower for real but it's too not strong to make you dizzy. As I'm very sensitive to smell and any kind of strong smell can make me feel dizzy, but this one is right at the point!! If I can find a perfume like this, I would be so delighted! And the mint tea..As a Chinese, I would say we can't call the tea in France as real tea. Whatever big brand like Lipton or the so-called very "in" brand like Kusmi Tea, it doesn't have any real tea taste for me, but the mint tea in this place made me surprised, very tasty and smells so good, they said they made by themselves, I think so! Do not miss it, tea lovers.Decoration, great! Service, warm and nice as always! For sure that this restaurant is underestimated in Trip Advisor, we should give more compliments and encouragement to restaurants like this! Please do not miss this special experience if you visit Caen!

Iâm over sixty and have been eating fish since I stopped being breastfed and I have to say this is where I have eaten one of the best fish dishes ever: the fresh cod doused with olive oil on a bed of mediterranean vegetables & potatoes. Simply divine. Donât miss it!

Excellent Italian restaurant in Caen's city center. Classic Italian dishes served with a smile. Highly recommended.

Restaurant - Takeaway - Home Delivery Specialty Couscous (Specialty Maghreb - North Africa)
We stopped there on an August Sunday when it seemed that every eatery in Caen Centre was closed for the August Holiday. Our host, speaking in French with my wife, was surprised that we were Americans and we actually were familiar with couscous. We eat it more than we eat rice at home. We both ordered the couscous dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was well cooked, the couscous and the âgravyâ were to die for, and the sides were very tasty. In fact, my wife said that having been in Normandy for a week, it was the best meal we had on our trip! The restaurant is described as African, but menu is Algerian (which I guess technically makes it African). If we had stayed longer in Caen, we would have eaten there again. Super place!Merci à vous et Bon séjour en France.Il est vrai que nous avons été surpris de voir des Américains connaitre aussi bien le couscous.La Gastronomie n'a pas de Frontières......C'est super ......Bon Retour chez vous.Malika KOUBA
