Dined alfresco this weekend and the food was a wonderful as ever. Stuffed Flounder, Chicken and Shrimp Clams with green sauce, Chicken Croquettes, Lobster Cannoloni, always perfect Sangria, outrageous sorbet for dessert and the ever attententiveness of our Captain - Manny! We could have been dining on the Iberian Penninsula - Mallorcas' flavors and service can not be equaled in the city. Consistently excellent.

Aladdin's has real potential, and it's possible that they don't want to have the more robust flavors characteristic of Middle Eastern food as what their establishment is really about. They seem to be more about natural, whole food, which wouldn't have to be a contradiction, but in this case, it did seem to be. The food didn't seem to have much flavor, for the two of us who dined together, both fans of Middle Eastern food. But, the staff were warm, friendly and attentive, and the ambience of the restaurant was attractive, and centrally located. Food was served in ample portions as well. Prices reasonable.
