It is a newly opened place specializing in fish next to the hotel we stayed at. Actually, we went there on receptionists' recommendation. Austere decor, limited choice on the menu, which probably guarantees that fish and seafood will be fresh. We chose three dishes. Misto calde and fritto calamari were good, though the portions were unusually small for Fiuggi. And they forgot 1 order (fish in forno). The waitress failed to understand as she doesn't speak English and she ran to the chef. He came to apologize and offered digestivo on the house. We were full and did not object. On the whole, it is not bad but I've been to much better fish restaurants in Amsterdam, Cascaish, Malaga, Amalfi, Naples... This one has a lot to learn.

Collepardo is a small hill town off the beaten track North of Frosinone. We found this restaurant by asking a little girl where there was a restaurant, in fragmentary Italian. She told us where this one was in English. I think it is the only formal restaurant in the town. Our lunch was superb. Local ingredients traditional dishes prepared from scratch and cooked in a wood oven. We ordered the starter plate which included fresh ricotta that had me drooling. I asked for what was good that day and got tangy butterflied sausages with vegetables. The menu seems to be starting point rather than a fixed thing.Casual, polite and personal service. Little English spoken, but no one was worried. They obviously pride themselves on what they do, as they certainly should! Make an reservation if you can, We were lucky on a weekday lunchtime.I want to go back.

We went once for dinner and once for lunch. Was really good. Great wine list. Lovely pasta and the anti pasti shouldnât be missed. Great new addition to Fiuggi. And the decor is lovely - very minimalist and tasteful

They do their pasta on their own. Salads and side dishes are a bit small but everything is very tasty and the service is good but very slow.
Ebbene: lâagriturismo LâArco rappresenta in pieno queste caratteristiche. Antipasti genuini e vari. Primi fatti in casa e carne incredibilmente tenera e buona. Menzione dâonore per i proprietari: gentilissimi e professionali. Alla fine abbiamo acquistato anche i loro fantastici yogurt. Non vediamo lâora già di ritornarci e ci siamo partiti appositamente da Roma. Un posto magico e genuino.

This is a small hill village place frequented by local blue collar workers for lunch and by their families for dinner. A lot of Americans or big city people will be put off by it. Family run place that serves basic food at great prices, not anything great but filling. I have eaten here 20 or more times and worry about the cleanliness every time. Nothing fancy and no need for a menu, since they specialize at serving whatever they buy for the day. If you sit outside, you may have to share with one of the village dogs, or a patron's dog that are allowed to roam freely-- and in he summer months, you will want to sit outside of right at he windows if you sit inside. You are liable to get overripe fruit for dessert and the house wines are local & almost effervescent.

I was both privileged and pleased to attend a luncheon feast at this converted historic olive oil factory in Vico nel Lazio, when visiting a lifelong friend who lives in this town. The menu is amazing and the quality of the food was beyond all my expectations.I have added stars for each dish if that helps you decide, but I seriously doubt the young chef who works here could ever produce an average meal. The order of the food was (and remember most of this is inside me now and I am a little light-headed): Barley Soup***, Parmesan and Pumpkin mousse*****, Ricotta and Truffle terrine****, Cheese (can't remember the type but it tasted smoked and was fantastic), with chicory and prosciutto on toast***. That was the antipasto. Then the pasta - Ravioli filled with Porcini Mushroom and Truffles********** (I can die happy now - this pasta was incomparable to any I have ever eaten), then Spaghetti with blistered tomatoes*****. There was serious debate after this course as to what to have next - the parties eventually agreed on calamari, prawns, grilled eggplant, zucchini and potatoes*****. There was also a basket of the locally made bread**** on the table which you have with the locally produced olive oil. The dolce (sweet) was a plate of three desserts - panacotta, creme brûlée and a sweet pasta with custard, cream and fruit. I cannot personally provide a critique of these dishes as I do not eat sweets, but the smiles on the faces of my fellow patrons seemed to indicate they were pretty good. I did have some of the fruit compote, which was elegantly prepared and was fresh and delicious. There was coffee and liqueur on offer, but I think by the time we got to this part of the meal I was unable to move my lips to say no thank you and just waved the owner away. Vico is a medieval town in Frosinone and if you make the effort to visit ho on a Friday, Sat or Sunday when this place is open - you will not be disappointed. I am sure to remember this meal for a long time.

Caters to weddings and special occasions. Most expensive restaurant in the area- by far, but well worth it. A place for a dining experience, rather than just eating lunch or dinner. May be the largest restaurant within half hour drive.Couple will find it romantic while families will find it kid-friendly-- it is a typically Italian..Features regional favorites with extensive use of locally sourced ingredients. Extensive wine list for being so far in the country. This is a destination restaurant, high in the mountains on a very winding country road from Guarcino that dead ends in the ski resort at Campocatino. It feels country and rivals most countryside restaurants in Italy. Staff is well-trained and well-supervised, so service is great and attentive. Several servers spoke some English, so most tourists will not have any problems.Overall, it is the best dining experience in the area... but that comes with a cost-- in both driving time and in money.
