The tavern Bruciategami is the home of Alcide and the chef Alberto, who do not want to impress with dishes countries exotic or come out from the expression of chemical formulas, it 'surprising Hollywood with furnishings and fireworks. Everything 'simply d
Friendly and welcoming without a reservation, we greatly enjoyed the food and service on our first visit. Had a nightly special of the Oxtails which were so good! Our second visit, we tried the Steak Florentine (huge t-bone steak) which was served pretty much raw (the outside was cooked and tasted great, but the inside was just warm) This was our first experience with this entree, so maybe that is the way it's done, but unfortunately, not to our liking. Other than that, the pasta and desserts were great.

Osteria with revisited and gluten-free Tuscan cuisine.

We were luck to come across this retsaurant in our reviews for Grassina and we are glad we did. We had their piazzas and they were some of the best we had in our stay in Italy so far. They have the most variety of piazza we have seen and you could really have a custom made piazza which I did. Also great service. Price is very reasonable. Not to be missed.

We were a bit disappointed with our recent meat at Senz'Altro, with such a high rating on TA we were expecting something special. It's often the little things that make the difference, we were pleased to be seated quickly and our water order taken, however when the menus arrived they were tired and scruffy. They also appeared to be missing a page and did not match the range from link on this site, a bit strange, perhaps simplified to increase production? The waiting staff explained the changes to the menu, there were a lot, in these days of technology is it not easy to print a revised menu. This then allows to use the best of the seasons produce? Our wine arrived and was tasted, all good, but the server rushed to pour it and we ended up with different amounts, OK for some! The good news is I enjoyed my starter of artichoke and prawns, the prawns were particularly good and juicy, I ordered the Veal replacement for the beef skirt, I had checked with the waiting staff as I was a little unsure if the beef had been replaced and got two different answers! The Beef/ Veal arrived, looked and tasted like Beef skirt and was tasty. The slight issue was they use the large grains of sea salt, resulting in occasional crunchy overdoses of salt, not very pleasant. The Beef was well flavoured and as expected a little tough. I forgot to mention, our waitress was very efficient at topping up our wine glasses, jus a little too efficient and by the end of our starters the bottle was empty, we were asked if we wanted another bottle, was this an upselling technique? The pheasant main courses had been replaced with partridge, this was a little dry and the legs quite tough. I had a small taste and was rewarded with a mouthful of gristle, I guess it could have been better trimmed. Some of the guests at out table had desserts, ice cream is not my favourite, even if it is home made. Some good news, the recent credit card machine issues appear to be resolved, it did make me wonder has this business recently changed hands? We were discussing the meal on the way home, we were all disappointed, just not what we were expecting. I should add I have worked in this industry for over 40 years, so have some experience.

"Traditional Tuscan cuisine, wholesome dishes and ingredients from our land. Founded and managed by our family from four generations, we follow a philosophy of quality and tradition." Housed in a farmhouse from the '500, I Tre Pini is located in the encha
Amazing. I dined here as part of a Gate 1 tour. The food was amazing and all you could eat. It started out with an anti pasta bar and ended with a plate of meat including beff, pork, chicken and sausage that was some of the best meat I have eaten. The wine was free flowing. I am not a wine drinker but the blue sparking wine, the strawberry wine and the grapefruit wine was great. Six family members who were traveling with me loved the red and white wines served. The singers were good. This was an optional dinner on the tour and I am very glad we decided to do it. Would do it again.

From the idea of a florentine young man and a calabrian young woman, the most "spicy" tuscan-calabrian panini place is arrived in Florence!
Daniele and his wife Valentina run the most incredible restaurant in the city of Florence. I always have a conversation with Daniele and he makes my experience one of a kind. They both truly care about their customers, and make the best sandwich I have ever tried in my entire life. If you are visiting Florence and are looking for a great spot for a meal, go to Mangiapepe for both the taste and the experience. This is my favorite place to eat in all of Italy, I recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and an unforgettable experience.

Have been here twice and the food is DELICIOUS. Its a very Italian atmosphere, but they had a girl who could speak English. We like it very much. Definitely would go again. You see things going to other tables and want them too.

Antella is a tiny town. So very few selections of restaurants in the area. We had driven 4 hours during the day to come to the area so we were honestly too tired to drive to all these amazing restaurants in Florence. We asked for the best in town and were recommended this restaurant.Honestly it's good but not amazing. The meat was ok. We are better buying from the local meat shop and cooking on our villa. The pasta with meat they had was unique since it's made with white wine and rosemary. Quite nice even though we had a bit of a hard time digesting. I wasn't in live with the menu but I'm a fish lover and very difficult with meat. So each of us have our own tastes. But prefer to be honest. I wasn't in love with the food here I thought it would be better after all the reviews I reads but actually should have gone by the photos. They are quite telling. Service and the people working there are lovely. And cute cosy bohemian ambiance. But we will now eat more at our villa since we seem to eat better at home and for much less!
