Opa! Greek Taverna is a full service restaurant located on highway 66 and Rowlett Rd. We serve lunch and dinner seven days a week and provide a full service bar to go along with our amazing Greek food. See you soon OPA!
I've eaten at Opa a couple of times now when visiting my mom as it is one of her favorite local restaurants. The food is always excellent, the service prompt and friendly and I will happily return. They are also helpful and accommodating for diners with food allergies and sensitivities. The roast chicken is fabulous, tender and good, and the lima beans are worth a detour. Needless to say, I will return.

Ate lunch here with some friends and thought the food was really quite good. Everything else though was less than ideal. The waiting area is small and you're often standing in front of one of the two doors constantly moving for people coming and going. The price was $17 per person, which I thought was too high. My favorite Mediterranean food is the gyro, which they couldn't seem to keep stocked. I found myself standing around waiting for the next batch to come out, along with about 6 others as well. While the food was quite tasty, the rest of the experience overshadowed the good. If you go, I would recommend going on off peak times. It did not seem like they were equipped to handle a busy rush.

My new favorite gluten-free (friendly) place.Food was all very delicious! We ordered the manchego cheese, the truffle fries, the seared brussel sprouts, and a seafood risotto with shrimp, salmon, and red snapper. The wine was excellent especially for the price point. The wait staff took excellent care of us. We hope to get Guy as a server again. The gluten-free chocolate cake was a fantastic finish. It would be nice if they carried it a gluten free beer.Hi Keith,Thank you for dining with us and sharing your experience! We are constantly exploring new gluten-free friendly options and we are honored to be considered one of your favorites. I will make sure to share your kind comments with Guy. Our beer distributor is looking into some new gluten-free beer options for us and if they make it on the menu we'll reach out and let you know. We look forward to seeing you again soon!Cheers,Burak
