Francesca's Kitchen is a Modern Italian Trattoria where you can sit back, relax and enjoy delicious food and great wine. Tuesday nights are BYO with no corkage! Bookings are recommended!
We were looking foward to our visit based on friendâs recommendations and good reviews. Sadly, we were disappointed.First the positives:A friendly modern bistro type restaurantA small, but good value wine listFriendly serviceThe negatives primarily related to the food:Prawn dumplings were cold and lacking in flavourMy flatfish main was good in terms of the fish, but there was not enough of it. Pretty uninspiring vegetablesSide order of chips were a little undercookedMy dessert of black rice pudding looked interesting on the menu, but was verging on inedibleAn affogato ordered was not delivered, but charged for. No problem in adjusting the bill.Maybe, I was unlucky on the night, but not encouraged to return.

Duende is Perth's first and original Spanish tapas bar. Since opening in 2003 it has continued to provide a unique culinary experience dedicated to the Spanish tapas culture with this experienced in warm, rustic surrounds. We are positioned on the fringe
I have eaten at Duende many times and normally really enjoy the food but I was left feeling really disappointed by the chefs menu when i ordered it last wk. I dined with 5 friends and we all found the food selection pretty average. No salad. Only one vegetable dish (baked mushroom). Main Lamb dish was very dry. Really donât want to say I wonât be in again but I was so underwhelmed by what was served. I did mention it to the wait staff when we realised weâd had all our courses but no remedy was offered.Naturally we were disappointed to read that you did not enjoy our Chef's Selection menu after receiving such positive feedback on it to date. We are very responsive to our guest's needs and would gladly have swapped out a meat dish for a vegetable dish or salad had we been aware of your preference. We appreciate that our guests may have varying tastes and being made aware of your position at the end of the meal presents its own challenge in terms of providing a remedy. Should you choose to return at another time we will be happy to review the menu with you and make changes to better suit your personal taste. We thank you for your feedback and hope will join us again.

We sat on the bench at the window and is always in to watch the world go by.Go there early on Friday night and had lazy cocktails and selected a range of tapas. The grilled calamari was cooked perfectly and the beef cheek was the best. Warm winter food at its finest.Love the Leederville vibe - a number of stores are closing nearby, I hope this one continues!!!Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Its pleasing to hear you have enjoyed our food and the great Leederville vibe.its disappointing to see some great retails shops crossing around us, but i promise we aren't going anywhere!have a great weekendkind regardsDonna

Pappagallo is an Italian Restaurant which has taken Perth Western Australia by storm with its authenticity and mouth-watering traditional cuisine. Located in the heart of Leederville itâs not only known for its traditional Roman Style pizzas and delicious
This is such a great casual Italian restaurant. Very authentic with great menu specials. My partner and I always like to get a spot at the bar and soak in the buzzing atmosphere. Staff are always attentive and offer great advice on trying new wines. Their pizzas are outstanding but highly recommend trying something different from their specials like chicken liver pate to start or the linguini vongole! This Perth local is such an understated treat every time.

This place is intriguing. Unfortunately on the occasion we ventured there, there was a dispute between the owners, and it was spilling out.The venue is ok for an afternoon beverage. The food is very average and probably wouldn't eat there again. Very pricey and very over rated.

Was excited to be taken to this quaint little Italian Restaurant. Host/Owner was very charming and entertaining. The restaurant was very busy and ran on two sittings for dinner 6pm and 7.30. We had early booking for 6pm and felt a little rushed. We had the recommended Entree of fried Mortadella and Cheese, which was delicious. For main, we both had the Gnocchi with mushrooms. Very disappointed...definitely not homemade ..tough little oval balls.

George's Meze is a charming Greek-Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of Subiaco. It's a relaxing place with an idyllic Mediterranean garden setting. There is life bouzouki music every Thursday night and every 2.Friday night. George's Meze opens
My friends, who visit Perth regularly raved about the food at this quaint outdoor/indoor restaurant.Food was truly delicious: special mention goes to the moussaka and the souvlaki. Wine complemented the food - service was friendly and efficient. It was also very good value for money. Great evening Georgeâs is well worth a visit.

Will never go back Arrogant waitresses not friendly at all !! Had prawns which I donât think were Australian prawns and had my first ever food reaction in my life ,, the cocktails are Not cocktails they are just spirits with a mixer ,, what a long journey for a waste of time !!Hi jayr658,Thank you for taking your time to write us a review. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your experience here at Woodpeckers. We are disappointed that you have decided to leave us your complaints here, despite our efforts to accommodate your requests - basically customising a pasta of your own with cream, chilli and seafood, the waitress was also going back from the table to kitchen multiple times to make sure that the chef would be okay to make an exception and cook a dish that was not on the menu, checking with your table a few times throughout the evening and asked if things were enjoyable; yet we did not manage to get any feedback that could help us get things fixed on the spot for you.Cocktails that you've ordered, Tennessee Mule and Sex on the beach, were both made by the bar manager with over 10 years experience with our popular recipe using juices, liquors, vodka, ginger beer. Could you please let us know what else were you hoping to have included in the cocktails? We look forward to your response.Regards,The Woodpeckers Team

We put so much of ourselves into Prego. It is more than our work, it is our home and that is how we try to welcome you - as a guest in a home we love, that we are proud of and eager for you to love too. We want you to feel special when you are here. We wa
Dinner with friends, we chose the degustation menu. We have been to Prego before and have never been disappointed, and again we loved it. There was nothing in the dishes we sampled that we did not enjoy. My favourite was the mushroom and prawns, followed by the main of lamb. Then again, the tortellini was great, and so was the bruschetta, and the dessert... The service from Anna is excellent, and Joe, owner and chef, pops into the restaurant to say hello. Highly recommended, we will be back.Thank You Sandra for your time to write lovely review. It always our pleasure to cook for you and make You HAPPY!Hope to see you again soon...Chef is in process of creating new Degustation Menu
